JAMMEH Takes Cocaine Case Involving Some Lebanese At S Madi And Sons From The NDEA And Transferred It To The Police Major Crime Unit Amid Speculations Of Cover-ups; Jammeh Threatens To Fire Females Government Workers Bleaching Their Skins; Gambia Introduces Local Dialects In Its Educational Curriculum System!

Dictator Yahya Jammeh has ordered for the huge cocaine bust allegedly involving some personnel of the S Madi and Sons Ltd, to be transferred to the police Major crime unit, the Freedom Newspaper can reveal. The case was being investigated by the personnel of the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA). But there have been some underhand dealings leading to speculations that the matter might be settled out of court-- with possible bribery in the millions.  Jammeh has since asked the NDEA investigators to rescue themselves from the cocaine catch case. The cocaine case was uncovered about one month ago. It was alleged that cocaine was found in the S Madi shipment earlier destined from Brazil to Banjul. It was during the course of inspecting the shipment, that cocaine was allegedly found in the containers.

GAMBIA: "SOLDIERS SENTENCED TO DEATH IN SECRET TRIAL MUST NOT BE EXECUTED, " AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL SAYS

Death sentences imposed on soldiers accused of participating in December’s attempted coup d’état in Gambia are a cruel violation of the right to life and the right to a fair trial, Amnesty International said today.  A military court handed down death sentences to three soldiers and sentences of life imprisonment to three others following a trial on Monday 30 March 2015. The trial was held in secret; media and independent observers were barred from observing the proceedings.

THE GAMBIA: IMPENDING TRANSITIONAL LEADERSHIP POST YAYA JAMMEH!

THE GAMBIA: IMPENDING TRANSITIONAL LEADERSHIP POST YAYA JAMMEH!

Written By Anonymous Gambian

Winds of change are in the air, storm clouds are gathering over The Gambia, the end is near for good luck Jammeh. 20 years of systematic degradation of all civil society groups have relegated The Gambia into a stable ambulatory failed state. All efforts at the moment have been centralized and focused on the country’s prevailing ailments; sooner or later good luck Yaya Jammeh will inherit his final name change – bad luck Yaya Jammeh.  Like his Ugandan brother from another mother, Idi Amin, bad luck Yaya Jammeh will have no choice but to hastily embark on a long journey to a distant Arab land. There he will be forever marooned from his people. At that point, The Gambia will have survived a chronic parasitic attack. National recovery will be in its early days, the economy will be weak, security infrastructure will be weak, international governmental relationships will be nonexistent, the intuitions of Gambian leadership is and will be at its weakest in the early days post bad luck Jammeh.

PEOPLE'S PROGRESSIVE PARTY ROARED, Allies a NO-SHOW!

PEOPLE'S PROGRESSIVE PARTY ROARED, Allies a NO-SHOW!

BY PATA PJ

First things first! CONGRATULATIONS to honorable Omar A. Jallow and the People's Progressive Party (PPP) for a very successful rally celebrating the country's 50th Independence Anniversary. It was not only fitting considering it was the Party that led us to independence, but very timely and necessary. With all its weaknesses, it's long overdue for the PPP to defend its record against all the smear campaign, the mudslinging by Yaya and the APRC. Time and time again, OJ has consistently done that with high velocity and degree of vehemence. What we've heard from the rally in Brikama was the fiery, brave, committed and unapologetic politician taking the battle to the doorsteps of the dictatorship.

GAMBIAN AMBASSADOR IN MALAYSIA FATOU MASS JOBE CRIES FOUL; AS SHE HAS NO OFFICIAL CAR; NO OFFICIAL RESIDENCE; NO SERIOUS CHANCERY!

GAMBIAN AMBASSADOR IN MALAYSIA FATOU MASS JOBE CRIES FOUL; AS SHE HAS NO OFFICIAL CAR; NO OFFICIAL RESIDENCE; NO SERIOUS CHANCERY; JOBE AND TWO OF HER STAFF have been HOSTED AT A LOW CLASS HOTEL; SENEGALESE EMBASSY IN MALAYSIA NORMALLY GIVES RIDE TO THE CONFUSED GAMBIAN DIPLOMAT!!

It was sometime last year, when the coke head Gambian dictator Yahya Jammeh abruptly came up with the decision to open an Embassy in Malaysia, even though the host Asian nation had no Embassy in Banjul. The Malaysian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal oversees Banjul. All Gambian visa applications to Malaysia are usually channeled through its Dakar Embassy. We seriously doubt if the Malaysian government had a Consulate in Banjul. All civilized nations have isolated Jammeh. He is trying to impose himself on nations, who do not have interest to establish diplomatic ties with his dying regime. Acting out of foolishness, Jammeh assigned his relegated former Tourism Minister Fatou Mass Jobe to head a two member team open an Embassy in Malaysia.  Mind you, Jammeh is a locust.  He is out to exploit the Asians.

BANJUL (Reuters) - Six soldiers were convicted in Gambia for their role in a failed attempt to oust President Yahya Jammeh late last year and were sentenced to either death or life in prison, security sources and family members of the accused said on Tuesday. A handful of assailants mounted an early morning assault on the presidential palace in the capital Banjul on Dec. 30 in what U.S. prosecutors say was a plot to topple Jammeh and replace him with a Texas housing developer.  Modou Njie, a former private in the Gambian army, was captured at the scene, while the others directly involved in the attack were either killed in the clash with palace guards or fled.  Njie was put on trial before a closed-door military court along with five military officers who were arrested in the wake of the failed coup.  Charges included treason, conspiracy and mutiny, relatives of the accused told Reuters.

POPULAR GAMBIAN SINGER JALEX BABY MAMA TUTU ALLEGES THAT SHE "WAS USED AND ABUSED" BY HER HUSBAND!!!

He goes with the stage name Jalex, but his birth name is Malang Touray of Bakau.  He emerges from being a neighborhood carpenter to a nationally celebrated household star singer. Like many hood boys turned celebrities, Jalex too is a celebrity of that sort under Gambian standard.  But his UK Gambian wife  Tutu felt some kind of way about the Bakau native fame artist. Jalex's baby mama Tutu is the least happy with her husband. She was on Freedom Radio Gambia on Monday, exposing what she calls "the despicable and dodgy character of Jalex, a man she alleged to have  used, abused, and lied to her throughout their years of marriage."  Jalex, she went on, has not only shirked his marital responsibilities, but he also neglected the two babies she had with him.  Now the 28 year old Tutu has been left to raise her two kids without their father around.

UTG UPDATES: A DESPATCH FROM A UNIVERSITY IN SHAMBLES!

A Concerned Student

Fellow Gambians and friends of The Gambia, hopes have been renewed and emotions were aroused by the SIT DOWN STRIKE of the students of the country’s only university that has been monopolized by an individual in the 21st century. In the past few days, many people at home and abroad stood by us; these individuals and groups deserve commendation. While the country was on the brink of explosion, GRTS (jokingly referred to as Get Ready To Sleep) was busy aggrandizing the vultures of the country. Naturally, man is free but there are individuals and groups who desire the subjugation of others wherever they maybe. However, people always resist domination, subjugation and oppression because is man’s natural tendency in the rule of terror. UTG students are not exceptional to this rule, for so long mild modes of resistance were adopted.

How Jammeh has transformed the Gambia into a Jola State--Part 3

How Jammeh has transformed the Gambia into a Jola State--Part 3

For those of you who have not visited the Gambia in the last 10 years, it will now be easy to picture the tentacles of the jola hegemony in all spheres of Gambian life today.

Please read on with patience.

A “ Kasumai” republic is born.

The natural advantage the jola community has over other tribes is that they speak other tribal languages whiles other tribes cannot speak the jola language.  Other tribes never bothered to learn the jola language in the past because they did not see the need to speak jola considered a minority tribe in the Gambia. Even though the jolanization process of government is an evident reality today, they still do not see the importance to learn the language. This is why the jolas people feel at ease to communicate openly amongst themselves in front of other people without fear of being understood or exposed.Language is the most important link that makes people stick together; if one does not speak the language of a particular grouping, you become a vulnerable stranger.

JAMMEH ORDERED FOR THE ARREST OF PROTESTING STUDENT LEADERS; AS TENSIONS MOUNT AT THE UTG; GAMBIA IS ON THE PATH TO POLITICAL UNREST; PROTESTING STUDENTS HAVE SHAKEN THE DICTATORSHIP!!!

BY THE SOLDIER

Pa, This is The Soldier again. Permission to write SIR. Fellow Gambians, right now Gambia is at a dangerous cross road.  According to reliable DCC agents embedded with dictator Jammeh at Kanilai, monster Jammeh is planning on arresting the ring leaders of UTG students. Fellow Gambians, monster Jammeh has been advised to meet and discuss with the UTG and meet their demands but he do not listen to anyone, he is everything. Monster Jammeh and his corrupt government are concerned that the UTG problem may lead to civil unrest and mass demonstration.  DCC is warning UTG ring leaders to be very cautious and always move in groups. Fellow Gambians, if you have family members at UTG ask them to move in groups and not drive or go out at night by themselves. Do not use your personal cars, take vans and not the small taxis. Dictator Jammeh will attempt to arrest the student ring leaders, please believe Dakar Command Center( DCC). UTG students stop using text as your way of communication, every student should use social media like Facebook for communication, STOP TEXTING. Dictator Jammeh is trying to identify the student ring leaders and he has already instructed for their arrest.
