Hussein Tajideen Changes Tajco Gambia To Senesco Banjul!

Acting on an E-mail sent to us by an insider in Jammeh’s Government about the change of company name involving the black listed Lebanese company Tajco Gambia Limited owned by the Tajideen brothers, we dialed the phone number 220-420-2191 associated with the company owner Hussein Tajideen and interestingly Hussein Tajideen himself answered the phone. Who are you? Asked Tajideen. “ My name is PM,” answered our reporter. “I’m trying to reach Hussein Tajideen,” our reporter posited. "Yes, who are you and where are you calling from,"? Tajideen retorted.  “Is this the Senesco Banjul,”? Our reporter asked. “This is not Tajco,”…. He answered. “How can I help you,? He further asked. “You need to call back the line is not clear. I cannot hear you,” said Tajideen.

My Beef With Pa Malick Faye & Others

By Nanama Keita (nanama@africansportschannel.com)

With my bogus false information case hanging indefinitely in a Kangaroo court in Banjul, I write this piece to shed light on some burning issues that were subject of discussion within the journalist fraternity both within and outside the Gambia.  Before I proceed, however, I would like to comment on my cordial-turned-sour relationship with Pa Malick Faye of the Daily Observer who is also the chief architect of my trouble in Gambia.

The Halifa Sallah/Foroyaa Reporters Debacle Transcribed Discussions!

MEETING ON DECEMBER 16, 2011.

After Friday Prayer

Halifa Sallah:

Fabakary Ceesay, have I ever interviewed you to come and work at Foroyaa?, Amie Sanneh, Sarjo Camara, Lamin Sanyang, Madiba Signateh, Musa Barrow, Momoedou Dem, Annia Gaye, Yaya Bajo, Sulayman Bah, Awa Bah and Pateh Baldeh. The same pressing question was put to Abubacarr Saidykhan, who after pondering for a while, responded by the emphatic word: “Never”.

THE MEETING BEGINS IN A TENSE ATMOSPHERE

I am surprised, and all of you again is there anyone of you who has ever been recruited to be a member of PDOIS? That I recruited you to be a member of PDOIS? Or to serve PDOIS as Foroyaa worker?  Have I ever approached anyone of you as people working for Foroyaa, and said you must be a member of PDOIS? Is there anybody who can say that? Some of the reporters responded in the negative. At this juncture Fabakary Ceesay attempted to intervene and Halifa Sallah lashed at him: “Please leave me to continue!”

Editorial: The Nigerian Bench In The Gambia Is A Threat To Justice!

The rogue Nigerian Chief Justice Emmanuel Agim has been busy trying to blackmail the Gambian Bar Association with his false claims that the Bar is a threat to judicial independence in this country. Twenty four hours has passed gone without the Gambian Bar rejecting Agim’s lies and smear campaign. We all know for a fact that the threat to Gambia’s judicial system is the renegade Nigerian judges, magistrates, and their employer the Kanilai monster Yahya Jammeh. These are the mercenary so called legal luminaries paid to do a dirty job for our sub-regional “rejected President” Yahya Jammeh.

By Laura Angela Bagnetto in Addis Ababa

Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has pulled out of the race for the presidency of the African Union’s Assembly, Gambia’s foreign minister told RFI on Thursday. This leaves Benin’s President Boni Yayi the likely winner of the rotating one-year term. “The president took the decision to withdraw his candidacy,” Mamadou Tangara said after a closed-door meeting of foreign ministers from the Economic Community for West African States (Ecowas).

Ben Jammeh Set Up A New NDEA Maintenance Unit To Enrich Himself!

The National Drug Enforcement boss Ben Jammeh thinks that he is a clever man. He is using his position to enrich himself.  Never in the history of the NDEA that we heard about an NDEA maintenance unit.  Well, Ben has constituted one for his own selfish interest. The laborers he hired to work on his Busumbal home are manning the new unit. He compensated them for having built a house for him by hiring them to work at the newly formed NDEA maintenance unit.

Yahya Jammeh To Announce A New Cabinet!

By BT  Saine, Banjul

Some of the people approached confirmed that they have turned down Jammeh’s cabinet offer.

The former sacked anti narcotic officers resumed duty yesterday. They have been assigned to the police force without any compensation for the illegal termination the officers suffered in the hands of Ben Jammeh’s misguided decision, said the official who spoke on condition of anonymity.
