I wish to write on condition of anonymity, in reaction to what the 'so called official' from Maligam saying maligam is not involved in dealing diamonds is just bullshit! He is just trying to cover up for the company and Assan for being stupid by leaking company secrets to an unknown person without thinking twice! You see the level of stupidity around Jammeh and his team?.....like they say ' you can run but can’t hide'. I don't work at Miligam but I know people who work there and have been there long enough to know what the company is all about.

UAE company connected to Iran Air triple Boeing 747 deal

A UAE-based company is allegedly connected to an aircraft deal that has seen three Boeing 747-300 passenger jets set for service in Iran.  According to the UK’s flight global online news service, Iran Air has acquired the first of three Boeing 747-300s from Al Sayegh Airlines, the Kyrghyzstan operator owned by..... The 1986-vintage aircraft which is still in storage, has been registered in Gambia since last month according to flightglobal.

Presidential Elections in Senegal

Yesterday, the people of Senegal exercised their rights and made their voices heard through a peaceful, democratic election.  This election was an important step forward for democracy in Africa and for the Senegalese people. I would like to congratulate Macky Sall on his victory and his hard-fought campaign. I also want to thank Abdoulaye Wade for his twelve years of leadership and dedicated service to the Senegalese people.

Responsible statesmanship is a phrase that is Alien to our President. Being a President of an impoverished nation like the Gambia is not about putting on a nice iron attire and dashing out bundles of Gambian Dalasis to griots on a regular basis. It is about setting standards and implementing policies that goes to benefit an improvised nation like the Gambia. Nowadays you witness in the Gambia anybody who can come from anywhere and just praise sing Jammeh by saying "Jammeh Musa", "Babili Mansa" etc goes away with bundles of US Dollars. This a normal thing in the corridors of State House but amounts to irresponsible statesmanship.

US Indicts Gambia For Trafficking Iranian Arms!

Gambia under the leadership of dictator Yahya Jammeh has been indicted by the US Treasury Department after the country has been linked to trafficking arms from Iran, the Freedom Newspaper can report.  In a press release issued on Tuesday, the Treasury Department revisited the Nigerian major arms interception, in which President Jammeh’s Kanilai Farms was named as the recipient of  the seized 13 containers of the deadly weapons.  The report pinpoint the Gambia as one of the destinations in which Iranian arms were destined for.  Dictator Jammeh owns Kanilai Farms.  “Behineh Trading, the shipping company, and the Nigerian agent designated today were involved in a weapons shipment seized in Nigeria in late October 2010. This weapons shipment – orchestrated by the IRGC-QF and intended for The Gambia – is part of a larger pattern of Iranian lethal aid shipments to clients in Africa and around the world,” said the Treasury Department news release.
