Gambia: Hamat Is Out To Destroy The Tourism Sector!

Hamat Is Out To Destroy The Tourism Sector!

By A Concerned Gambian

The Leader of the National Reconciliation Party Hamat Bah should come out clean and tell Gambians who really he is.  Supporting Jammeh’s anti gay policy, by way of making cheap remarks to win the sympathy, or support of the dictator on the heels of a looming bankruptcy facing the failed politician would  not save Bah from the miseries, economic pain and sufferings he has exposed his hotel staff to.  Mr. Bah is broke as we speak and his Sun beach hotel is in complete disarray—thanks to Bah’s mismanagement of the hotel. He has not been paying his staff’s Social Security Contributions, and staff complaints against Bah also suggest about unpaid salaries prior to the shutting down of the Hotel.

Gambia: Breaking News: Jammeh Grants Political Asylum To The Runaway Bissau Army Chief And His Delegation!

Jammeh Grants Political Asylum To The Runaway Bissau Army Chief And His Delegation!

Gambia’s dictator Yahya Jammeh has granted asylum to the former Guinean Army Chief Fernando Gomes, Jose Zamora Induta,  Desejado Lima Da Costa and other former Bissau administration officials running from persecution.  The dictator has been a close  partner of the Bissau army drug cartel. He is harboring them for selfish reasons.  Mr. Gomez and his team will use Banjul as a base to strategize their home return to dislodge the current junta. We will also be witnessing more South American jets dropping off cocaine in our backyard here in the Gambia. Jammeh’s meddling into the Bissau crisis is largely due to economic gains.

Gambia: Dictator Jammeh Misses Airport Arrest!

Dictator Jammeh Misses Airport Arrest!

When Oga Jammeh emerged from the foot of his aircraft after few days of official trip to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, I was among the top Government officials, who shook his hand to welcome him back home.   I could read fear into Jammeh’s face. Security was tightened on the day in question.  He spoke briefly to the press before heading to his villa. Throughout his trip, he was in constant touch with the NIA, and GAF Command. He was in Mauritania, but his mind was not at ease.  We know what happen during the trip.  The security entourage, who travelled with him told us that he was jittery about the loyalty of the men on the ground tasked to oversee his absence while he was in Mauritania.

Gambia: Breaking News: Jammeh Spends D60 Million Dalasi To Fund His Birthday Celebrations!

Jammeh Spends D60 Million Dalasi To Fund His Birthday Celebrations!

It has been estimated that over D60 Million Dalasi was wasted in financing the birthday jamboree of Gambia’s dictator Yahya Jammeh, who turned 47 this past Friday, the Freedom Newspaper can report. The dictator billed musicians from neighboring Senegal and guests elsewhere around the continent to grace his flamboyance life style. Major public corporations and private institutions were compelled to chip in to fund the President’s waste venture while the country is struggling with famine. Over one million Gambians have been hard hit by the famine, which compelled the intervention of International food agencies, including the United States Government to help feed the starving population—many whom live under one United States  dollar per day.

Gambia: Should President Jammeh be Reminded that “Charity Begins at Home”

Should President Jammeh be Reminded that “Charity Begins at Home”

By: C. Omar Kebbeh

Washington, DC

In a recent publication, the Daily Observer showed President Jammeh grinning with his sun glasses on, with a caption URR, CRR present farm produce to President Jammeh”. The Daily Observer story went on to state that “the produce, which were presented by the two regional governors alongside their farm coordinators are the harvest from last year’s farming season. Attended by cabinet ministers and other senior government officials, the occasion also availed the Gambian leader the opportunity to once again pledge his continuous support to the country’s farmers.” Reading the rest of this story, I was horror-struck  by why the President should accept such a “gift” or “harvest” from deprived farmers, when the government just announced that there is a food crisis in the our country, and that the rural areas are more affected.

Response to Alieu Baye

By A Concerned Gambian

Hello Pa,

Thanks for that brilliant response to Alieu Baye, the son of Fatoumatta Jahumpa Ceesay. When I read the piece, I felt very happy for you having to expose the very people who go round making a mockery of our fool President Yahya Jammeh. Thank you very much Pa .You have made the Gambian people proud by telling Aliey Baye who he really is and exposing his greedy mum. Pa, the likes of Fatomatta Jahumpa Ceesay are the very type of people who help Jammeh to destroy our country not Jammeh alone trust me. One might wonder why I said that.

FJC’S  Son Alieu Baye Phoned To Insult Freedom Editor!

My phone rang on Saturday afternoon and when I picked up the phone—only to be greeted by a hostile caller, who wasted no time in cursing my Mama. I said to myself: Wait a minute. Who is this hostile caller? Why cursing my Mama? The raging caller wanted to confirm if Pa Nderry was indeed on the line. Who is this? Is this Pa Nderry? Caller Alieu Baye, the son of Gambian politician Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay asked.  I responded in the affirmative. “ Yes, this is Pa Nderry.” By the time I finished introducing myself as requested by the caller, Mr. Alieu Baye went berserk on the phone like one of those wild lions caged at the Jammeh Kanilai zoo. “ Pa Nderry, why are you insulting my mother? I'm going to fuxxck your mother. Do you hear me? I’m going to fuxxck your mother. Fuxxxck you,” a rather angry Mr. Baye fumed.
