Lessons Yahya Jammeh must learn!

Former Daily Observer Editor Releases Another Disturbing Report!!

By Kemo Cham

Under quite a compelling urge to go off with anger, I still continue to restraint myself against responding to some of the spurious comments I read almost on a daily basis about me and how I feel about Yahya Jammeh, his government and his perceived ‘Kingdom’ of The Gambia on the one hand, and on the other hand, my past record in the increasingly dwindling effect of a rather botched and negligible propaganda in the form of the charade the Daily Observer continues to champion.

London Letter: Silence due to just too much happening …

 Dear Editor,

One or two of your readers have written to ask whether I have been stricken by the illness affecting the “Silent Londoner”. Well, this letter is proof  that my inocullation against the silence disease does work. Nevertheless, I should say that I was faced by the problem that afflicts the centipede often: there are so many things going on that, like the centipede, I did not known which leg to move first!

State Secrets: What Samsudeen Sarr Said Then and Now

By Foday Samateh

In the running Sabarry debate with Mr. Amadou Dibba, Lt. Col. Samsudeen Sarr invited readers to a passing exhibition of his worldview. The disparate pieces of ideas which rightfully belong in a museum of discarded thoughts he is selling as cutting-edge fresh thinking include: an easy penchant for untenable comparisons of the best and the worst in the world as distinctions without difference to arrive at fallacious rationalizations, a ready disregard for laws of democracy, and an artful attempt to substitute unalterable reality with wistful imagination. All in the brazen effort to appease and by extension apologize once more to his former puppet-master in Banjul, or more likely in Kaninlai.

Jammeh’s UN Speech: The Pot Calling the Kettle Black

By Baba Galleh Jallow

When Gambian president Yahya Jammeh took the stand at the 64th session of the UN General Assembly, it was inevitable that he would go on a verbal rampage, pointing accusing fingers, throwing punches in the air, and making grandiose pronouncements about Africa’s refusal to allow itself to be exploited or oppressed any further. In fact, he was so delusional as to give an ultimatum to the world body to “ensure that the continent of Africa has at least two permanent seats at the Security Council with full veto powers or else any resolution passed by the Security Council will not be binding on Africa or any AU Member State by the end of 2010.” How Mr. Jammeh hopes to enforce this threat beats the imagination.

President Jammeh Donates $10,000 US Dollars To Party Supporters In The US

“ I read The Internet On A Regular Basis,” Jammeh Tells His Supporters!!

As Jammeh Threatens To Deal With Cyber Warriors!!!

If anyone thinks that I Yahya Jammeh do not read the Internet, he or she must be mistaken. I read the Internet on a regular basis. I  browsed  the Internet like any other Gambian. I laughed to myself,  each time I read some of the malicious, and misleading stories they write about me on the Internet. To those of you, smearing my image on the Internet, I say go ahead. Do not make the mistake to come to The Gambia. I  will deal with you mercilessly if you come back home,” These were the exact words of Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh.  Mr. Jammeh who was addressing a sizeable crowd of party supporters at a New York hotel,  said some of the stories written about him, and The Gambia in particular,  were far from the reality on the ground. He tells his supporters that The Gambia under his watch has witnessed an unprecedented development over the years. “ Instead of acknowledging the developmental programs initiated by my  Government , they think that they can deceive the world by portraying me as a monster, bent on undermining the freedoms, and liberties of Gambians. There is freedom and development in The Gambia. I do not care what they say. I am interested in developing this country,”Jammeh.

EXCLUSIVE by Justin Penrose, Crime Correspondent 27/09/2009

The new face of Tesco, chosen to star in a glossy advertising blitz, has been arrested for being an illegal immigrant. Mother-of-three Fatou Cham, a 32-year-old checkout operator, won an in-house Tesco contest to be the face of its new autumn clothing range. But she now faces deportation after a tip-off to immigration officials – and has been hurriedly dropped from the ad campaign. Fatou beat hundreds of applicants to model clothes for Tesco’s Florence and Fred range after bosses opted to ditch professional models in favour of “real women”.

Has UDP’S Demba Sanyang Tried To Defect To The APRC???

…Demba Dismisses Defection Reports!!!

Mbaheh Nyang Says Demba Wanted To Cross-Carpet To APRC, But Was Denied Entry To The Hotel

Few days ago, APRC’S Mbaheh Nyang of New York claimed that some opposition supporters were among those who welcomed President Jammeh.  This claim was widely disputed by UDP’S Saihou Mballow. But to the chagrin of all, news broke out late Thursday afternoon about the planned defection of Demba Sanyang, a prominent UDP supporter to the APRC. The story goes like this: Mr. Sanyang was in the company of some APRC supporters from Atlanta, who showed up at the hotel where Jammeh, was having  meeting with his supporters. Security was beefed up at the hotel gate, following reports that some opposition elements wanted to disrupt the Presidential meeting.  All attendees, including APRC militants were subjected to vigorous search by the security at the gate. As soon as Demba Sanyang was being checked in by the security, Mbaheh Nyang was invited to ID him. Madam Nyang refused him entry for security reasons, sources reported. Sanyang was told by Mbaheh that he was part of the opposition United Democratic Party, but he was said to have dismisses such assertions. His persistent request to attend the meeting was rejected. He left the hotel with a heavy heart, as he was refused entry.

Gambia:Yahya Jammeh must not be allowed back in the Country

Yahya Jammeh must not be allowed back in the Country.

Jammeh must go by any means necessary!!!

By Pasamba Jow ‘Coach’

The recent outburst by our notorious maniac, Yahya Jammeh, must not be brushed aside. If anything, the only promise that Jammeh has ever kept, is his threat to murder Gambians. He is squarely responsible for the many murders including the massacre of students in April 2000 and the killings of Deyda Hydara, Sadibou Hydara, Koro Ceesay and others. His threat to kill those who would attempt to destabilize the country is not only meant for the human rights campaigners, but for all Gambians he views as threats. This does not leave out members of the security forces - scores of whom he has murdered including Gibril Saye, Ebou Lowe, Boubacarr Jammeh, Dot Faal and others. And there is no doubt he will kill more soldiers as long as he is in power, for like all tyrants, Jammeh  always has his imaginary enemies, enemies he believes will end his most cherished evil rule.
