GMC Says It Would Rather Use Arms Against Jammeh’s Blood Thirsty Government!!

GMC congratulates the UDP on a successful rally held in Serre Kunda on the, and expresses full solidarity with Mr. Femi Peters, and the Leadership of the Party. GMC shares the conviction of UDP to take the case of The Gambia directly to The Gambian peoples, and to be accorded equal treatment in this process like the APRC. We vehemently condemn the unreasonable and unjustifiable denial of the right of UDP to hold a political rally by IGP Badgie. We hold Yaya Jammeh personally responsible for such denial of constitutional rights.

Attention: All Ex-Gambia Armed Forces Personnel
As the Remembrance Day approaches, all good people around the world are urged to remember the ultimate sacrifices others have done for the rest of us can live in peace and freedom we enjoy around the world. Remember to buy and wear a poppy!
It is time, we will all agree, for us to unite and form a formal organization emulating the Gambia journalists associations in the Diaspora, to not only raise awareness of the contributions of the security forces to the development of the Gambia but also to organize and help each other out everywhere we might be on this globe! It is no exaggeration to say that we are the most persecuted group in The Gambia, barely a year goes by without the news of at least one of us, either serving or ex-security force being executed, incarcerated, tortured or exiled! Yet it is our own brothers in arm, most of which we may have helped to train. If the journalists, with all the competitions between them can unite and meet, so can we, with our regimentation and discipline, there is no mountain to high to climb!

The End Game:Yahya Jammeh’s Strategic Blunders.

By Mathew K Jallow

Recently, the metaphorically dour and dank pages of The Daily Observer carried yet one more of those ridiculous propaganda letters praising Yahya Jammeh for his U.N. speech. But, what Mariama Jallow, the ghost letter writer, did not know, was that Jammeh’s lame speech, impassionate, and characteristically bereft of ideas and substance, was delivered in an empty U.N. Conference chamber. The twenty long minutes his speech lasted, were unremarkably arduous, inglorious, and comically absurd; for anyone who thought the rest of the world leaders and their delegations had the gumption to listen to nonentities such as Jammeh, must be out of their minds. But, as the boisterously opulent décor of the hall obscured Yahya Jammeh’s perverted gratification, the echo of his words, in the gracious and magnificently palatial hall, oddly became an exemplification of the iconic success of the world body, as well as its tragic failures; the failures embodied in the nebulous and misanthropic personalities of a few of its recent stage actors, notably; Momar Ghadaffi, Iran’s Ahmadinajja, Hugo Chavez and their narcissistic disciple Yahya Jammeh.

The war in Afghanistan has dragged on for almost eight years with no end in sight as to the best possible approaches to a successful containment of the crisis. Several theories and hypothesis have been formulated and put before the appropriate policy and decision makers, but nonetheless, the war continues to take an eventual twist of turns around varying trajectories. Many have finally contended that the situation seems to be a historical repetition just as seen happened in the Vietnamese war. Whether true or false, the war has indeed become a delicate policy theme needing proper pondering in reaching a prescriptive venture towards the adoption of an approach that will effectively contain the crisis.

Introduction. All modern religions of the world use lies, verbose, archaic and in most cases appalling languages, passed off erroneously as wisdom or divine inspiration, to intimidate and cajole their followers into believing that there was nothing before their advent.  Religious truth cannot be unraveled without recourse to its mother source, which is African spirituality. Abraham, Krishna, Zoroaster, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad and all the other names peddled as founders of modern religions, adapted their religions from the African Mystery System of Thoth, Ausar, Auset and Heru.  Western, Arab, and Asian scholars, jurists and commentators on the history of religions ignore this basic fact and the entire gamut of spiritual flowering dating from pre-historic man and the dawn of alchemy in the five thousand years before the new era.
