An American Lobbyist’s Nightmare With An African Dictator!
“ I was told to see the President’s Marabout In Senegal, Before A multimillion lobby deal would be signed,” John Aycoth Tells Freedom Radio
By Pa Nderry M’Bai

Tel: 919-749-6319
An American lobbyist, who left Washington to sign a multimillion dollar deal to market the image of Gambian dictator Yahya Jammeh, and his Government back in 2000, was made to travel three hours on arrival in Banjul to neighboring Casamance, in the Southern province of Senegal, to receive “blessing” from a spiritual leader known as (Marabout), before he could set his eyes on his host President Jammeh. This was one of the preconditions laid down for American lobbyist John Acoyth, before he could finalize his “lobbying contract deal” with Africa’s most iron fist dictator. “ I drove three hours into Senegal to some little village, where I was made to see the President’s Marabout. I was told that before I could see the President, I must meet his Marabout. This was a criteria laid down, before I could meet the President. They said the President wanted me to meet the religious leader in order to receive blessing,” said. Mr. Acyoth.

Breaking News: Gambia: Former Gambian Lobbyist Exposes President Jammeh! Saturday, November 27, 2010 (4326 reads)
Former Gambian Lobbyist Exposes President Jammeh!
Damning Revelations against President Jammeh!
After serving as a lobbyist for Gambian dictator President Yahya Jammeh in Washington DC, John Aycoth, who had fallen out with Mr. Jammeh is speaking out for the first time, following years of low profile. Mr. Aycoth is very conversant with Mr. Jammeh’s foreign policy. Mr. Aycoth also acted as Jammeh’s Public Relations, and Economic adviser between 2000 to 2002. He was the main man in DC promoting Gambia’s interest to US policymakers. For some reasons, Mr. Jammeh decided to prematurely terminate the American lobbyist’s services. Well, Jammeh’s action goes with a price, as John sued Jammeh’s Government for a half million dollars in damages. The matter was settled amicably in court with The Gambian Government reaching a settlement deal with Mr. Acoyth.

Gambia: Letter Writer Accuses DJ Waka Jagne Of TV Propaganda To Promote Jammeh’s Government! Friday, November 26, 2010 (4078 reads)
Letter Writer Accuses DJ Waka Jagne Of TV Propaganda To Promote Jammeh’s Government!
By Isatou Peters, UK
Dear Editors,
May I bring to your attention a very serious ploy by former Gambian DJ Waka Jagne in London, England, trying to distort facts about our motherland Gambia. While everyone is working hard to restore democracy in our country seized by President Jammeh in 1994, along his gang of criminals, Waka, is using a private West African TV network call BEN to spread unfounded information. Waka said Gambia is very nice, full of work and employers, and the government are waiting to employ college graduates etc, thus they should return home. Yes, everyone like to return but his observation is misleading. How dare Waka Jagne telling such unfounded information—knowing very well that he fled Gambia after been accused of “drug dealing”.

Editorial: Gambia Hires Convicted Murderer As A Court Clerk!
WHEN FELONS RUN THE JUDICIARY!
Convicted murderers are now working with Gambia’s judicial system. A soldier convicted of murder some time in 1995, has been appointed court clerk in Brikama. He is handling important legal documents: be it civil litigation cases, criminal matters, or court judgments. Gibril Badjie, widely known as Sargas, a former member of The Gambia National Army is the latest felon to infiltrate our broken legal system, where he works as a court clerk in the town of Brikama. Mr. Badjie, was convicted of murder together with his co accused person Michael Dacosta—both men had served their time in jail. Badjie, and Dascosta, who were under the influence of alcohol murdered a Latri-Kunda German man during the early days of the military coup.
