TEETH BITE -THE STATE HOUSE COCKTAIL PARTY ON DARBOE'S RESIGNATION?
TEETH BITE -THE STATE HOUSE COCKTAIL PARTY ON DARBOE'S RESIGNATION?
THE STATE HOUSE COCKTAIL PARTY

It has come to our attention that a cocktail party was recently held at the State House in Banjul, following the resignation of the UDP leader Ousainou Darboe. Jilanka, FJC, Jali Yanks, and others converged to celebrate about the opposition disintegration. Jilanka, gave money to Yanks to criss cross the country and informed voters about the NADD failure. Chei!!!! Few days, prior to the Darboe, resignation, Jilanka also gave thousands of dalasis  to the state guards to celebrate a year of "normalcy." That 2005 had passed without the boys trying to remove him undemocratically. That he Jilanka thought it imperative to thank the boys for their dedication to duty. Now, we understand Jammeh's problem is not the soldiers at Yundum, Fajara, Farafenni, Kudang and Basse, but the state guards. We cannot understand why other soldiers should be discriminated by Jammeh. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

                            DARBOE SABARI

Under Jawara, we used to say DK "Sabari." Under Jammeh, we say Darboe "Sabari." Cool down your temper Darboe. We know you want to be a President, but this is not the way to advance your case to the voters. Let give chance to dialogue, before resorting to any major decision. Don't allow others to say Darboe is the problem all the time. Sheriff Mustapha Dibba, of the NCP at one time accused you of "leadership greed." Waa Juwara also did the same in the past. Now what will Halifa, Hamat and OJ said?

Remember, Mr.Lawyer, you were created by the PPP and NCP. Most of your supporters were drawn from these parties. Think about yesterday to reconcile  your political difference with NADD. It is not in the interest of the  UDP, GPP, PPP, NRP, NDAM and PDOIS to see another five years of Jammeh rule.

Ousainou, the true be told, you contributed to the Jammeh self imposed rule. We remember your 1996, "emergency"  landing at the Senegalese High Commissioner's residence, following reports that some soldiers were after your blood. There is nothing wrong to seek protection, but as a political leader, you should be the last person to run. Many people started losing confidence in you following your move to abandon your supporters, who were also maimed, killed and tortured by the junta. As an opposition leader you should be prepared to lead your supporters and not to abandon them in times of difficulties.

Second, you also called to congratulate Jammeh, after Baboucarr Jatta asked you to do so in the interest of peace. Jatta, fooled you by telling you that if you don't call Jammeh, the country's peace will be threatened,  as emotions were high among your supporters. Jatta, gave you Jammeh's direct line to call, not knowing that the whole issue of pre arraigned. They called  journalists to witness your phone conversation with Jammeh, which was on speaker phone. At the time, your campaign team led by Waa Juwara were in the bush monitoring the polls. The same Darboe, who conceded defeat, turned around to accuse Jammeh of stealing the elections. His party boycotted the National Assembly elections, while Waa Juwara also parted with him in protest.  We still cannot understand  what Darboe wants for the UDP and our country. The sad thing is that Jammeh used the  phone conversation to ridicule Darboe and the opposition. Darboe, should be real to Gambians and stop the political double standards.

JAMMEH'S NEWS PAPER IN THE US?

Former AFPRC spokesman Ebou Jallow, is denying that the "Progressive African online Newspaper" was not owned by Jammeh. But Ebou, could not tell us the owner of the site. Our investigators discovered that the site was registered in the name of an Ivorian man resident in Maryland. We spoke to the man, who told us that he have no hands on the site."I was contracted to build a website for them, which I did. Period. I don't own the site." said the Ivorian man. The gentleman confirmed that he received series of phone calls from Gambians, who enquired about the ownership of the site. That he personally regretted registering the site in his name, as he the computer guru had no interest in Gambian politics. We know that The Gambian embassy in DC, are behind this  project. Ebou, should tell us the truth and stop defending Jammeh. FREEDOM NEWSPAPER is here to expose the likes of Yahya and his cronies. We have a lot to expose in days to come.
