President Elbashir of Sudan coming to meet President Jammeh on September 13th....
Our
Insiders within the state house in Banjul have hinted that the Sudanese
head of state will be visiting President Jammeh on September 13th 2006.
The verbal note which revealed the proposed high level visit from
Khartoum was disclosed to 'Bulfaaleh' yesterday. I went ahead to
further authenticate the story therefore received a reconfirmation from
another close insider who even revealed more on the current situation
surrounding the Presidency. As this visit is still in the making we
will be monitoring every move now onwards and see. What is certain is
that the visit is being worked out between the capitals at the moment.

Elbashir's visit to coincide with President Jammeh's tour in the Kombo North Area where NADD is more popular. Why? Why
not?
According
to my source, protocol traditions usually respect the schedule of the
hosting country when such trips are being organized. Therefore
President Jammeh was indeed contacted to draw from his pool of loaded
schedules a suitable date thus advise his visitor. In order to be able
to receive his Sudanese counterpart he he has to respond with a
suitable time and date. According to this same source President Jammeh
chose to receive his visitor at a very bad time. The timing is not good
for official matters, however very convenient for Jammeh an unpopular
dictator at this hour. President Jammeh is continuing the same trend he
started before the AU summit.A trend he used to help him parachute his
popularity at a time when he is considered an unwanted element
because of his own bad record. Immediately after the AU summit
President Jammeh rushed to invite Lauren Gbagbo as special guest during
the July 22nd movement. Now it is Elbashir of Sudan. President Jammeh
is a daring fool who does damaging and unexpected foolish things. No
other serious democracy will invited a visiting head of state during
peak of political campaigns. We hope and pray that he will stop beng
foolish therefore ask Elbashir not come at this hour. If he does then
Elbashir will maybe met with bashing headlines. This may cause Jammeh
to arrest more journalists in his presence because he does not think
deep when criticised.
Jammeh strategizing with so-called Islamic brothers before the UN summit...
It
should not surprise Gambians when President Jammeh muddies the waters
before, during and after the next UN summit in New york. It is now the
talk of now in and out of Banjul. That is, President Jammeh is working
with so-called Islamic brothers and his latino totalitarians to help
foster strong opposition against what they call "American hegemony"
during the UN summit. This according to my source is one of the main
reasons behind Elbashir's visit. Elbashir is following his political
interest near Jammeh.Whereas President Jammeh is thinking, he has
succeeded in using these African heads of state during a campaign that
does not favour him within his own people? President Jammeh is also
being used by seasoned and smarter geopolitical gurus like Castro or
Hugo Chavez to further strengthen their passion on communism. What
amazes some of us is how on earth can a shallow extremist like
President Jammeh mix Islamist feelings with extreme communist
ideologies in one single tin? He cannot succeed on that path and it
will be to his own detriment because he does not understand either of
the two in the first place.
President Jammeh
and special guards in constant panic during the tour.He does not sleep at all during the night....
Any
one following the convoy can attest to the fact that, President Jammeh
has not been sleeping at night during the past week. He lives in
constant fear because he has been hinted that his convoy maybe
attacked. This is what has been surrounding the man and his men every
day and every night.
President Jammeh
chose to use a huge hummer on every path and gravel road because his
hummer according to sources is armed and ready to fight. Using a
Hummer-Limo in combat terrain whilst dressed in tradional bubus? This
shows the whole world that Jammeh does not face any threat from rebels
in The Gambia,he simply makes up his own stories on these endless
attacks and coups. That is a bogus charge coming from a confused man who
lives in constant fear. A large part of the crowd that follows Jammeh
are not supporters. They are armed fighters in civilian clothing. Some
of them are so-called combattants who are seen as people familiar with
the terrain. Why these combattants? Some of them are Casamance rebels
who will be used to repell any attacks while the President is on a
tour. Jammeh comes back to an undisclosed location every night when all
meetings are over. This location is known to very few. He starts all
meetings not too early in the morning because he does not sleep when it
is dark.
It is obvious that President Jammeh is in constant fear these days. He knows exactly why he is in fear these days.
