Touray is the Driving Force behind the Ruling APRC. Despite past and
present corrupt scandals involving the politician, the President is
still keeping him in his government. Yanks, who was born in Mali
settled in the Gambia with his parents when he was very young. Touray
came to the Gambia at the age of five and can hardly speak our local
languages at the time. Besides, Bambara, Touray cannot speak any of the
local languages at the time. Thanks to the people of Nowlaru Baddibou,
Yanks was accepted into the community. He was issued with a brith
certificate just like many Gambians who were born in the Gambia. In
those days, you don't need to be citizen to obtain Gambian national
documents. As long as village alkalos okayed your Citizenship claims,
you are good to go. Most alkalos hate to reject "SURUGAS" or mates like
Yank's father. They okayed all their request once they settled in
communities. In the case of Yankuba Touray, both his father and mum are
non Gambians. They were born and raised in Mali. The Gambia is today
ruled by non Gambians. The country is being hijacked by non citizens.
  
Yanks Touray The Late Deyda Hydara Editor Pa Nderry M'Bai

to the July 22ND coup, Yanks Touray was at the Farafenni army barracks.
Touray was not among the pioneers of the coup. As soon as he was
invited as a member of the defunct military junta, Touray stole the
show. He over shadowed the likes of Edward Singhateh, Sana Sabally and
the late Saddibu Hydara. Admitted, the guy is a good public speaker and
was one of those who were ready to kiss Jammeh's ass at any level.
Yanks will do whatever necessary to impress President Jammeh. Even
within the rank and file of the APRC, he is often branded as "Jammeh's
secret agent." Yanks masterminds the sacking of many civil servants in
the country. Also a great womanizer, Yanks is often seen messing with
party women. Yanks is a player big time. His cheating games reached
President Jammeh at some point when Mami Touray had repeated
matrimonial problems with him. Mami called a certain lady telling her
to leave her husband alone. The story later reaches Jammeh who called
Yanks to behave if wants to keep his job. This was the kettle calling
the pot black anyway. President Jammeh is also another cheater in town.
Earlier this year, the Freedom Newspaper serialized about his
wife's visit to deliver in the US and Mami's desire to have American
sons and daughters. The most disheartening part of the whole issue was
their well planned attempts to dupe the US health care system with
their fake medicare declarations. They come to deliver here and left
unpaid hospital bills. Mami left Raleigh Wednesday morning for Mary
Land and later Banjul. She is expected in Banjul sometime before the
weekend if all plans went through. Mami said the Freedom Newspaper
should stop writing about her. We heard about her private complaints,
which was forwarded to us by a source very close to her. We have
nothing against Mami and Yanks Touray. We hate the way they used their
positions to dupe Gambian tax payers money. If Mami was not a
minister's wife no one will write about her.
Mami Touray was
met in Senegalese salon shops braiding African Americans. She was often
called the "Minister's wife in Banjul." The lady must be rich by now.
She was not idle at all while she was here. She worked very hard to
raise funds for her business. We even gathered that a lady in Mary Land
owed her over $7000,000 dollars worth of local Gambian fish called
"Geejah." We hope Mami succeeds in collecting the said money before she
returns home. We don't want to embarrass the said Gambian lady by putting her
name online. Yanks will be a happy man soon. Perhaps, a new car is
awaiting the Minister. Mami will buy him a new car to bluff around
town.
We know why Yankuba Touray is not talking these
days. He is afraid of the Freedom Newspaper. The Minister has a lot to
hide. Our past stories about his wife scared him. It is even gathered
that Jammeh will let him go after the elections. We will not be
surprised if President Jammeh let him go. Yanks Touray might likely
suffer like Baba Jobe. Jammeh will end up locking him. That day is
coming soon. Deep in President Jammeh's heart, he hates Yanks Touray.
Little did Touray know that President Jammeh hates him. Yankuba got to
be very careful about the party he is trying to sell its image. If
Jammeh can tell one of his close associates that Touray is a traitor,
what will stop him from discarding him? The APRC is a party formed on
the basis of betrayal schemes. The same betrayal schemes will lead to
Jammeh's own demise one day.
Yankuba Touray was one of those
implicated into former Finance Minister's death Ousman Koro Ceesay
together with the Singhateh family. While we are not in the possession
to substantiate the said allegations, what is clear is that Yankuba
Touray is a vicious man. Touray was one of those drunken soldiers who
tortured UDP supporters at Denton Bridge in 1996. Touray was personally
seen beating and walking on the bodies of the tortured opposition
supporters and their officials. Touray initially wanted to order for
the killing of the said opposition supporters. He issued all kinds of
threats against them. Besides, this Touray also executed secret errands
for Jammeh. He was one of those who hated the Point Newspaper. While
the killers of Deyda Hydara are yet to be brought to book, Touray
personally had a row with Pa Nderry M'Bai and Deyda Hydara shortly
after his sacking. Touray was angered by a Point lead story authored by
M'Bai that he was sacked and later arrested by the police. Touray's
arrest was revealed to us by a senior member of the police who has
always been a dependable source. We reported about Yanks land graping
scandal, which led to his redeployment at the Information ministry
prior to his sacking. Several millions of dalasis worth of properties
were sold to some Lebanese business men by Touray without proper
documentation. He sold a property to his friend Willi Mban, a Lebanese
Gambian along the Tourism Development Area at a give away price. Willi
Mban and Yanks hang out in town. This seems to have angered the
politician. Shortly after his release from custody, Touray called threatening us.
While there is no evidence to suggest that he killed Deyda Hydara, we
can report with authority that Touray was an enemy of the Point
Newspaper. He usually tells Observer journalists that he hated Pa
Nderry and Deyda Hydara. He was even quoted as saying that Pa Nderry
and Deyda should leave him alone before they will pay the price of
meddling into his life. Deyda was aware of Yanks threats to deal with
us. Despite his rantings on the Daily Observer, the Point Newspaper
editorial staff insisted that the story on Yanks arrest was real and
nothing was going to make us disown our story. Prior to going to press
on Yanks arrest Deyda called the police to verify the piece in my
presence and was confirmed by top official of the force. We went ahead
to run the piece. Yanks bad blood with us dates back on his sacking as
a minister. Yanks Touray is a deadly person who should be exposed. Read
