ASSAN MUSA CAMARA BREAKS THE SILIENCE!!!!

Former Gambia’s Vice President and GPP leader in the First Republic Assan Musa Camara, has denied reports that he joined the Ruling APRC government, saying that he Camara belongs to no political party in The Gambia.

Breaking the silience  for the first time, following wild reports circulating in the country that he joined the Jammeh bandwagon Camara said, he is a senior private citizen who do not belong to any political party.

                          CAMARA IN DENIAL

“Tell them that they are lying. I never joined the APRC. I never belong to any political party. That is why I deliberately refused to register the GPP when they lifted the ban on political parties. My intention was to have a united opposition in the country. I refused to register my party. I don’t hold any party ticket.

NO COMMENTS ON JAMMEH'S JOB OFFER

Mr. Camara’s, rebuttal followed series of private visits he made to the state house, where he had discussions with the President Yahya Jammeh. When asked to confirm or deny reports that he was offered a government job by Jammeh, the veteran politician retorted “ I cannot discuss that. I cannot disclose what I discussed with the President of the Republic. I’m sorry I will not reveal what we discussed.”

Camara promised to grant this paper an exclusive interview Tuesday. Mr. Camara, was a main challenger of deposed Gambian President Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara after serving that regime for numerous years. His recent association with President Jammeh had attracted mixed reaction in the tiny West African country. While Camara is not keen at disclosing the issues he discussed with Jammeh speculations and counter speculations continue to rife in The Gambia.

KITTI JABANG TO OVERSEE 12 COUNTRIES

Just this past week, Lamin Kitti Jabang a PPP top gun was offered ambassadorial job in the Republic of Saudi Arabia. Jabang is also charged with the responsibility of overseeing dozens of countries within the Arab world, a job said to be challenging and demanding.
