Ousainou Darboe his past speeches made President Jammeh hate him more..
During the campaign Darboe used a good strategy by reminding Gambian farmers about the need to sell their nuts.
This
was a good shot. President Jammeh and Yankuba Touray saw no chance in
getting a winner on that one. They chose to say that,it is the duty of
the private sector to purchase our farmers' nuts? This reveals the
campaign strategies of the APRC behind the scenes. This is exactly what
they were saying during their night visits in different households.
They used Darboe's name to win votes. They told some people that they
did offer Darboe a trade licence in the past but he refused. There are
so many of our farmers who will see Darboe as the bad man. Yankuba and
Jammeh are saying Darboe has the chance to help but he refused to do so
because he is not the mansa. Remember these folks are desperately in
need so they might have simply been bewitched by Touray with that
shallow thought. They have been made to fear the opposition. This is
why Yankuba chose to use the same version in the open now that Jammeh
has stolen the elections. Any person who was told decided to surrender
his or her card. These are the people who did not vote. This
is why President Jammeh thru Yankuba is making noise on that one these
days. Yankuba dared not utter what he said if Jammeh did not permit him
to do so. Darboe will be seeing more unexpected smear campaign from the
APRC. The Jammeh camp believes Darboe was so right about his contacts
in Geneva which he exposed during the campaign.
This
scared them therefore why they targetted the Kombo East again and then
continued harassing people like Rambo in Bakau. The same reason made
Jammeh stifle possible opposition in Basse area. They still are
interested in getting more information about those buyers in
Geneva Darboe was mentioning. If Darboe had used that as a NADD flag
bearer or if he had all the other flag bearers under him,he would have
been witnessing more forceful opposition from the state house at this
hour. The
latest evil strategy from Jammeh is just a tip of the ice berg.
President Jammeh will provoke Darboe a lot more. He wants to see Darboe
in Jail. I spoke to someone today who said scary things to me. He said
President was refering to Darboe when he said he does not believe in
killing he believes in locking people up for the rest of their lives.
In weeks to come Darboe will be seeing things he never anticipated from the state house.
The
same license to buy the nuts from farmers is what the APRC team will be
using during the NAM election campaign. This is something they have
already prepared with the help of people like Dr Manneh,Aziz
Tamba,Yankuba Touray and President Jammeh himself. They will go back to
the farmers tell them that Darboe was issued a license but he failed to
use it. These are revelations from within the APRC camp. Most of those
people the APRC went with during the campaign are talking like hell
now. The euphoria will certainly backfire on the APRC government very
soon. The cause of President Jammeh's departure is still alive. It is
not dead at all.
Dr Manneh there for a cabinet post and revenge
Today
I met someone who gave a very good analytical view on Dr Manneh's come
back. This person recollected Dr Manneh's past. He reminded me about Dr
Manneh's last and bitter days with the former regime. He also reminded
me that Dr Manneh was already bitter with the former when President
Jammeh came to power. This is a person who really knows Manneh.
According to this source Manneh is in the APRC for revenge. He wants to
either get his jokadu seat back or become a minister once again. This
is why Dr Manneh is a good element for President Jammeh during this
period.
Dr
Manneh was said to have even gone to greet the President's mother to
pay his respects. He calls the woman a good sample for other Gambian
mothers.
Dr Manneh,Lamin Kiti Jabang
and Sir Dawda Jawara are the old guards designing approaches for
Jammeh. President Jawara is calling himself a private citizen but he is
nothing more than pawn. He was approached by his immediate circle to
congratulate President Jammeh. Why? Because this means a way of
diluting the contents of Darboe's refusal to accept the results. A lot
of dirty games are taking place in Banjul these days. The cause of the
recent disunity between OJ,Ganji and Darboe stems from the PPP'S old
ways of undermining one another. The same trend President Jammeh is
using will be the cause of his down fall. These elements according to
my source are worse than termites.
The
opposition has been warned here that is,President Jammeh was going to
win and then he will start using different flimsy reasons to get the
flag bearers behind bars. He is yet to go on the UMRA because reports
have indicated that his security apparatus is still not very stable.
Despite all that we still stand by our side of the story. More things
are on the way but President Jammeh is for sure not going to rule
happily.
Winning is on his side but
stability is on the side of another team of people. President Jammeh's
latest threat ie that he will be ruling the country with an iron
fist is so welcome by some people. It is a good justification for
anything else.
Today when I saw
President Jammeh he looked at me in the eye,I nearly thought he was
almost going to call me 'Bulfaaleh'. President Jammeh is not the least
happy deep inside because he knows why he is using these threats after
his so-called win.
Now
that the euphoria is gone next we will be continuing our startling
revelations. President Jammeh decided to use all what he could to block
this on line paper. He failed to succeed because he has forgotten about
the use of the "nest" in Dakar Senegal. President Jammeh cannot block
online papers,he is simply making useless noise on that. If President
Jammeh had known what those I met knew then he would not have
been jubilating...next we will write on President Jammeh's list of his
future cabinet. The list is out but not yet confirmed by him. He makes
it and he confirms it on his own. This time he wants to be typing
appointments letters from Kanilai. He is ready to shake many of those
we called the "untouchables".
