PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'-Kukoie Samba Sanyang arrested by Viera...Tumbul Tamba bewitched or mistken Identity?
Kukoie Samba Sanyang arrested in Guinea Bissau with former Lt Badjie...
Why President Jammeh cannot win the confidence of Nino Viera...
Details reaching me have once again revealed scary and worrisome pitfalls. It has been revealed that a former rebel leader and the first Gambian son who brought blood birth on Gambian soil following the departure of colonialists Mr Kukoie Samba Sanyang was arrested in Guinea Bissau's capital about a month ago. Sanyang was arrested for what sources are calling serious security threats or reasons on one side. On the other side there are sources revealing  that,he was arrested to be used as a pawn in exhange of Salif Sadio the Casamance rebel leader. Many people believe Sadio is currently being fed and sheltered by President Jammeh in The Gambia.

President Veira Wants Gambia to hand over MFDC
Rebel Leaders Before He Hand Over Kukoi

The source I spoke to today at the Banjul court house said Kukoie Samba was rounded up in Bissau during a recent trip to the Lusophone country's capital city. According to the same source Kukoie was shuttling the area in preparation of a shocking attack against President Jammeh's Kanilai base. Whether true or not true the same source has revealed that there is heightened security around Jammeh these days. This according to the same source led to the sudden departure of President Jammeh from the state house premises last week. The same source revealed that President Jammeh is so eager to receive the fugitive Kukoie back therefore slay him like a chicken. In President Jammeh's own words,he said..."If I lay my hands on Kukoie Samba Sanyang I will be using his skull to drink water from a jar..."
The same source revealed that President Jammeh is pressing so hard to be able get Kukoie handed over to The Gambia government with utmost urgency, amidst the sour relations existing  between Banjul and Bissau these days. The same source said President Jammeh is preparing to use the services of William John Joof a former Gambian Ambassador to Guinea Bissau. It is said that Joof is so close to Guinea Bissau's first lady. According to this source William John Joof and NIA Director Harry Sambou are working via indirect routes in Bissau with the soul aim of influencing Nino Viera to hand over Kukoie. However,it is also said that Nino Veira has in return asked President Jammeh to facilitate the arrest and handing over of Salif Sadio to Guinea Bissau. Guinea Bissau sees Sadio as an enemy against the existence of ther own state. Unfortnately,as usual... President Jammeh resorted to using invectiives against Nino and Wade behind the scenes. He said why ask him to hand over Salif Sadio when Sadio is a Senegalese? On the other hand Sadio is an unwanted trouble maker in Senegal therefore would have been captured by Senegalese forces if he was spotted on Senegalese soil. There are so many questions that still remain unanswered near President Jammeh? This further implicates President Jammeh and the Gambia.

Gambian mercenaries with Kukoie? the region is not yet stable...
It is no news for those who remember Kukoie's nick name Dr Manneh. He chose the name because his followers said he looked like Dr Manneh President Jammeh's current spokes person for the APRC.
Kukoie Samba Sanyang,Charles Taylor and other Gambian mercenaries like Jackal and others were one of the most vicious fighters in Liberia and Sieraleone. Kukoie it is believed was put on President Jammeh's pay roll during the late nineties and early twenties. This was when he came to meet Jammeh in Banjul about three years back. How and why have they started seeing each other as arch enemies now?
Kukoie according to sources was arrested with other Gambian mercenaries and one Lt Badjie a former special guard of President Jammeh. According to a member of the Gambian army that I spoke with today, Lt Badjie is more of a threat to President Jammeh than Kukoie.  Badjie was said to have been the architect of all the bunkers at Kanilai and he also helped identify  good locations for the installation of strategic military posts around the state house and Jammeh's Kanilai base. My source further revealed that Kukoie's arrest has since been confirmed by President Jammeh's secuirty apparatus. Some close elements of the President expressed concern because they said that deep-rooted sources in Bissau told them  Kukoie has so far escaped into the wilderness of Guinea Bissau. What next? Has Kukoie been used as a  cover up to pay President Jammeh what he was doing to Senegal and Guinea Bissau through Salif Sadio only to be set free with a special mission? Or what? This vicious circle is yet to be determined...but as times goes on a lot of scary things will be see near our borders. The Gambian President himself is the person behind the unrest in Casamance and former Liberia. This is a fact. How can he then expect to escape poetic justice?

Our country has already been tagged  a catalyst or a hot spot that is helping brew wars in Africa. This is not far from the truth because President Jammeh went all out to swipe at those countries working on sending troops to Darfur Sudan. He went against that peace keeping mission on Gambia Television when Sudan's President visited him on September 13th 2006. He was not also seen at the recent peace talks in Nigeria where the President of Ivory Coast was being talked through for a lasting peace in his country. Is that not why President Wade of Senegal was called and commended by the US President George Bush at the beginning of this week? Where does President Jammeh stand when he sent Salif Sadio to receive money from Ivory Coast and buy arms? Where does he stand when he supported the Sudanese President not to accept troops on Sudanese soil? These are things Jammeh said on TV. Is that what Gambians want in this mad world of endless turmoils?
There are African Presidents already angered by what President Jammeh said when the Sudanese leader visited Banjul. Will Jammeh once again say ...Let the whole world get to hell"? exactly as he did when he was asked about press freedom in The Gambia?
More revelations on the way. As far as we are concerned the war with President Jammeh has just begun.
