Should He Be Handed To The International Court Of Justice For Trial?
The Senegalese government should help to hand over Sana B Sabally former AFPRC Vice Chairman to the International Court of Justice for the atrocities he committed over the years against our people. Now that it has been confirmed that Sabally's dream for Western asylum had failed, efforts should be made for the former rude boy to face criminal proceedings for the crimes he committed against our people. Sabally is one of the deadliest Gambians I have ever seen in my life. Sanna murdered Gambian soldiers in cool blood in November of 1994. It's time for Gambians in Dakar, Senegal and all over the world to lobby for this murderer and persecutor to be handed to the International criminal court of Justice. Sabally will never settled in the West as he killed, tortured, persecuted and exiled our loved ones in a span of one year. If reports from Dakar are to go by Sabally is on the verge of going mad. The former soldier is very desperate these days and is often seen walking around the city trying to earn a living. Sabally is reaping what he sow yesterday. The amount of blood he spilled on our soil is unimaginable and shall continue to be hunted by such atrocities.
Sabally who used to shoot and jail civilians is today unemployed. While Sabally is trying to call Jammeh names at this hour, it is imperative to note that Sabally was one of the council members who initiated the culture of killing in our country. Sabally participated into the mass execution of November 11, soldiers accused of trying to seize power by force. A friend of mine was nearly killed by Sabally when his cap taxi mistakenly ran into Sabally's convoy back in 1994. Sabally personally opened fire at the said friend of mine thereby crashing his car. The said cap driver was mercilessly beaten by Sabally and his guards before taken to the Yundum army camp. At Yundum, Foday from Jarra was stripped off naked while Sabally walked over his body before being subjected to grand style torture. It took Foday months before he could get back to work. Sabally and co later dumped him at the outskirt of the Yundum barracks and asked him to go home. You see how wicket this shameless soul is? Sabally was a ceremonial soldier who hides behind the dark to kill and maim Gambians.
During one of his naming ceremonies, Sabally assaulted a local photographer. Not stopping at that, he also threw the photographer's camera on the ground thereby damaging it. The said photographer was bundled out from his palace and forced to leave. We cannot list down Sabally's crimes in one write up. There are numerous unreported cases linking Sabally to torture, killing and sometimes forcefully taking people's girl friends. He was a big time womanizer for that matter.
Like Foday, many other Gambians suffered from the hands of rude boy Sabally. Sabally openly threatened civilian ministers. At some point ministers who worth their salt walked out from cabinet meetings because of Sabally's arrogant attitude. He had numerous confrontations with the murdered Gambian Finance Minister Ousman Koro Ceesay. Sabally was one of those council members who would try to force Koro to release unaccountable funds. If Sabally is reading me at this hour, he knows about the arms deal which he and Sadibu Hydara negotiated for on behalf of the council in the early days of the coup. Koro refused to be baffled by sabally's faked figures to blackmail the government. Sabally was very corrupt and he enjoys kickbacks. Koro was never in Sabally's good books. He Sabally beats his chest while threatening to shot and kill anybody trying to derail the so called revolution. Beside, a murderer Sabally has nothing to tell Gambians. Let him shut the hell off. We know him.
Gambians should start alarming foreign governments about the potential risk of habouring deadly people like Sabally. Sabally believes in violence. He is a threat to the human race. I'm very glad that the former murderer is now reduced to a wanderer in Dakar. A friend of mine who spotted him in Dakar Chees said the man is about to go mad. He is often seen around Fan hospital. He spent his day walking around without any sense of direction said my source. That's good for him, I replied. Sabally brought untold hardship to some of us. He caused mothers to lost their loved ones. He make kids to be orphans. Many families are today suffering in the Gambia because of Sabally. Sabally was one of the masterminds of the killing of the November 11 alleged coupists. He was at the Fajara Barracks and Yundum to spearhead the executions. Some even alleged that he was the ring leader of the said coup only to back out at the eleven hour upon knowing the said coup had leaked. Sabally's main preoccupation was to become a head of state. But was later axed by Jilanka. Let Sabally published a memo about his past atrocities. We have no time for smear campaign stories at this hour. We are interested to know about his past serial killings and not unsubstantiated stories devoid of the truth. I for one will never buy his lies and cooked up smear campaign stories. Sabally got to be real if he wants to be taken seriously by decent Gambians. No time for playing games. Sabally needs some mental check ups. The guy is gone for real.
In a span of three months, he brought his people at Gamtel and other key government positions. I know people Sabally brought to Gamtel and other government departments who can hardly read or write. These are his close relatives and in-laws. No wonder, when the mighty Sabally disappeared from the limelight, the junta had to send his hand picked novice government workers packing. Gambians should not sympathize with the likes of Sanna Sabally. Sabally is a vicious person. He must be second guessing about the author of this piece, but would be taken by rude shock if I further spill the beans in days to come. The hardship he is seeing in Dakar is just the tip of the iceberg. Sabally is on the road to madness. His case reminds me about the former Sierra leonean Head of State Captain Valentine Strasser who was bullied in Banjul by disgruntled Sierra leoneans some of whom he allegedly wronged in the past. Straasser received a hostile reception in Banjul. While feeding himself was a problem, he was never given peace of mind by Sierra Leoneans in that West African country. In the end, Strassers had to leave Banjul unceremoniously.
The Gambian Community in Dakar are very nice people. So far there is no reports indicating that Sabally has been harassed, besides his cooked up stories that the NIA are after his life. Knowing Sabally, he will give all kinds of lies to realize his Western dream- that is getting sanctuary outside Africa. Shortly after he was released from jail, Sabally told the Daily Observer that he wants to study medicine overseas. Many at the time believe that the former Vice Chairman secured a visa, but to the surprise of many Sabally was far from getting closer to that. The West don't want to receive murderers and persecutors like Sabally. Sabally was a terror who believes in undermining rights and liberties of decent people. Sabally should shut the hell off. He is nothing but a traitor!
