Breaking News:APRC Divided Amidist Cabinet Reshuffle-Party Bigwigs Want Jammeh to Reverse Decision on the sacking of Jahumpa, Taal and Sussan!

Following the recent cabinet reshuffle, which resulted in the dropping of four ministers, some Banjulians are lobbying for the President to reverse his decision to send Balla Gaba Jahumpa, Bai Taal and Sussan Waffa Ogoo packing, well placed sources at the heart of Jammeh's government told the Freedom Newspaper today. The delegation mainly APRC big wigs want President Jammeh to consider rehiring the dismissed former ministers, sources hinted. Balla Jahumpa, Bai Taal and Sussan all hailed from Banjul and their recent removal according to my source is creating a big rift in the APRC. Sources added that the APRC delegation were not happy with the President's decision and as such have decided to meet with the head of state in private to register their disapproval against his decision. According to leaks from the state house, the President is apparently figuring out what line of action he is going to take to satisfy the aggrieved Banjulians.
Meanwhile, according to sources some of the people approached to replace the sacked ministers have turned down the Presidential offer. Reports have it that some former ministers in Jammeh's regime were offered ministerial positions but they declined. "The President is finding it very difficult to find replacement for the four sacked ministers. He invited some people to the state house with the intention of hiring them but they refused. I do know that Dr.Manneh accepted his appointment, but others refused. Manneh will soon be named by the President. He has issued him a brand new car and is often seen at the state house and the party bureau."said a member of Jammeh's protocol team.
According to the source Jammeh is also trying to reconcile with people like Malafi Jarju, Samba Bah former interior minister, Ousman Badjie, former interior Minister and others he fired in the past. "Maffi is likely to bounce back. The President is talking to him these days. For some reasons, I don't want to pre-empt his next move, but I know for a fact that Jammeh will surprise the nation in days to come. He has some plans to execute and I'm privy of these plans. I will get back to you on this. I know why he fired Mamburay. There is more to the story. Mam has his own story to tell Gambians. I fear for his safety. He knows a lot. Mam has communications regarding Iran, which Jammeh is hiding at this hour. Just wait. The facts will emerge soon." said the source at the protocol office at the state house.
