Breaking News:Ramzia Diab Rearrested!
Former APRC nominated member of Parliament Ramzia Diab has been rearrested and thrown into jail by state security operatives this paper can reveal. Madam Diab who was being investigated on coup related charges by the government lost her freedom, as the state house issued order for her rearrest with immediate effect, sources hinted. Prior to her arrest, Ramzia Diab alongside with the sacked Kanifing Municipal Mayor Lie Conteh and others were granted bail but still asked to report to the Kairaba Police station on bi weekly. The circumstances surrounding her rearrest is not yet clear, but sources say the former MP was being closely watched by the NIA and other undercover security agents in that impoverished West African country. Earlier, this week the Freedom Newspaper received a hint about Madam Diab's arrest.

Ramzia Diab was close friend and associate of the jailed Jarra MP Baba K Jobe. Her problems with the ruling APRC started when she publicly demonstrated her solidarity with Jobe during his tax evasion charges even though her ruling party house colleagues decided to distance themselves from the disgraced politician. Ramzia stood by Jobe during  those trying days. It is gathered that the President was upset with her because of her open support for Jobe. Besides, politics Ramzia and her parents used to feed President Jammeh during his tender age. Jammeh who used to be a wanderer and a destitute in the neighborhood of Latrikunda used to struggle for food remnants at Ramzia's family house which is opposite to Jammeh's host the late Pa Tamba. The Diab we learned used to call Mr.Jammeh "boy Jolla." In addition, Jammeh was also being used an errand boy. He brew the local tea called attaya for the Diab family.

Meanwhile, the state has decided to appeal the criminal case it filed against the former KMC Mayor Lie Conteh. Conteh who recently apologized to the President is likely to be jailed by the state as all indications suggest that the President's office were ready for him. His treason holding charges according to sources was also being reviewed by the investigators. Mr.Conteh shocked his supporters recently when he walked into the VP'S office with the sole aim of meeting the President for reconciliation. But to his surprise the President refuses to see him. Conteh is now reduced to a laughing stock across the country.
