PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh' Current Affairs and Jammeh's till the land philosophy-another mess?

Jammeh and the oil-Is he and the cabinet current?

Today the head of the Brazilian Association of Sugar Producers made sensible remarks on ethanol gas which is one of the most recent issues on the world political arena today. The Brazilian president is in London today. Part of the things he signed includes this latest topic.

Statistically the Brazilian official mentioned in the first line said 20 million hectares are needed to promote sugar production, from that a 10% reduction of our dependence on fossil gas can be achieved.

He talked about involving Africa in that because it has the land and favorable climatic conditions. It is a scientific fact that the area occupied by Brazil now was some millions years ago attached to the African continent. At least this is what Geography said to us in class. How about the term tropical land? The Gambian opposition has to hit hard on issues like this one during rallies.

Where Jammeh's philosophy misses the point!

If a regime is to achieve serious results it has to conduct research on what ever plans it intends to implement in the long or short term. For Jammeh and team, mechanized agriculture means tractors and huge farms of corn at Dobong. That is not serious.

Agriculture is so wide and important. The Jammeh regime is sidelining institutions like NARI-National Agricultural Research Institute. Did NARI even know about Jammeh's medicine i.e. the bottles he was distributing at the McCarthy Square two months ago?

Were these plants patented? Shouldn't they be patented? Was any research done in a lab to determine of Jammeh's medicine was safe for consumption? Before using Jammeh's name to expand a propaganda why not The Gambia engages Brazilian experts at this time then get to participate in this new era's mission on the production of bio fuel etc?

Why can't the Jammeh regime approach Brazil and then conduct feasibility studies on sugar production in The Gambia now? Two countries that Jammeh works with now can help develop this program for us. Namely Cuba and Brazil. Why not Jammeh also asks Taipei to help develop aqua culture in The Gambia?

These serious ventures and projects he cannot use for propaganda anyway, however they can leave a good legacy for our country in this world for ever. These are projects that will stay for any future government to inherit from him as well. That is why people want term limits! Jammeh and team please stop the personal aggrandizement and work hard to increase the mode of production.
