.jpg) Gambia's Interior Minister Baboucarr Jatta has been fired with immediate effect, the Freedom Newspaper can confirm with authority. Mr.Jatta has been replaced by IGP Ousman Sonko. Jatta was kicked out yesterday before close of business, state house sources said. In the meantime, Musa Mboob former Immigration Director has been named as the new IGP. His Deputy Saikou Drammeh replaces him at the Immigration. Buba Sanyang has also been appointed as Immigration Deputy Director. In another development, police commissioner Jatta Baldeh has been sacked with immediate effect alongside with the recently NIA DG Hydara. Hydara has been replaced by Pa Jallow former Gambian High Commissioner to Nigeria. |
