Horomsi:President Jammeh Suffering From Mental Illness! A Government Minister Shares his Experiences..
Horomsi:Over the years, I have been expressing the need for President Yahya Jammeh of the Gambia to be accorded with mental treatment. Our President is sick and therefore needs help. This country is being presided over by a mad head of state, who needs urgent medical help. President Jammeh and his supporters should not take offend of my statement. It's geared for the common good. As far as he occupies that high office, we as Gambians deserve the right to enquire about his health status and if need be, we offer solutions that can cure his ailing health. Mr.Jammeh, in my mind is suffering from paranoia and a history of mental illness. If Jammeh or any of his followers dispute my claim, let them prove me wrong. It's time we invite psychiatric doctors to evaluate his mental status.

President Jammeh needs to reorganize himself and retreat to his home village Kanilai for a month and ask himself if he is really delivering the goods or not. Mr.Jammeh should also ask himself how comes that many of his former right hands are falling out with him? Why is that he enjoys taking the lives of Gambians for the sake of power. If President Jammeh can order the killing of Daba Marena, Lieutenant Lowe and others what is going to stop him from taking the lives of his current junglers running his show? Each time, Jammeh ordered for the killing of  perceived political opponents he would come out with excuses to deceive the nation. The same President Jammeh uses the likes of Baba Jobe, Aziz Tamba, Baboucarr Jatta former Interior Minister, Ousman Badjie, also Ex Interior Minister, the list goes on and on to harm our people in the name of national security. Today, Jammeh is distancing himself from the said individuals. The same President Jammeh is behind the murder of Journalist Deyda Hydara. Jammeh stands to be accused of being a "man eater", in view of his blood thirsty attitude.

Each time, we talk about Jammeh's poor mental health, some narrow minded APRC supporters would accuse us of "invading the privacy of the President."  What these APRC supporters fail to realize is that, the President have no privacy as long as he continues to head the country. His life is not private at all.  We as patriotic sons and daughters of this country hate to see a mad person ruling our country.

Whether Jammeh knows it or not, many of  his Secretaries of States, Perm Secs, Security Chiefs and some high government functionaries perceived him as a retarded being who is at loss as to how to steer the affairs of this country. They openly discussed about his mental deficiencies and his unpredictability as a human being. To them, Jammeh lacks memory and can easily be misled by party sycophants.

A government Minister told me the other day that Jammeh enjoys malicing them for unexplained reasons. The said Minister said the President still behaves like a soldier, as he often insult his colleagues supposedly found wanting. According to the Minister" Jammeh hates to see two SOS talking or having good working relationship."

Many SOS these days hardly chill after work. The President is interested about what they eat, who they talk to and what time they sleep. Considering his young age, Jammeh also hates to be called by his name. He wants government Ministers, Ambassadors, Perm Secs, the VP to call him  "Pabi" meaning Dad or the old man. We have witnessed instances where public servants lost their jobs for merely calling Jammeh by his name. This is total madness on the side of Jammeh. The likes of Balla Gaye can father him, but yet Jammeh wants Balla to call him "Pabi." This is the type of situation we found ourselves as a nation.

We cannot understand why Jammeh is trying to force people to call him Pabi when he is pretty young. Jammeh should be proud of being young and stop this civilized way of "forced slavery" against our people. After all, the fact remains that he is a kid in the eyes of the likes of Balla Jahumpa, VP Njie Saidy and other old guards in his government.

As long as President Jammeh is not willing to listen to positive suggestions and recommendations his fall would come as a surprise to him. Jammeh has  been bragging over the years that he don't mind to die for this country to maintain peace of and stability. The same President Jammeh said if it would take him to kill 1.5Million Gambians to keep the peace he would do it. For Jammeh, he believes that  by killing Journalists, Human Rights Lawyers, Doctors, Teachers, Soldiers, Students and family members means keeping the peace. From 1994 to date, hundreds of Gambians have perished from the hands of this blood thirsty dictator in our midst. By the time, we understand  the real meaning of Jammeh's statement, he would end up killing the entire country. Lets act now to avoid a blood bath Gambia. Lets reclaim our country from this shameless and murderous despot.

We do not want a country, where its people live in increasing fear and uncertainty. As I piece this write up together, the likes of Army Chief of Staff Lang Tombong Tamba, his Deputy Peter Singhateh and other top Security Chiefs are uncertain about what the future holds for them. They report to work with little hope of returning home. They can be arrested just like their colleagues currently languishing in jail.

Jammeh runs this country based on what his marabout tells him. Anyone can be arrested on bogus charges. President Jammeh changes his guards like he changes his pants. There is a degree of uncertainty in the army, police and other security agencies. Many soldiers don't trust one another these days. Lang Tombong himself don't trust his own orderly. He's cautious about what he said and where he go. Like Tamba, other army chiefs are also extra careful about their movements. There are people hired to frame people suspected of being security threats even though there is no evidence  to substantiate such allegations. Jammeh needs urgent medical help. The country is in wrong hands. We feel sorry for Gambians.
