YAYA JALLOW NEVER DEFECTED TO THE APRC-SAIHOU MBALLOW DECLARES!!!

UDP’S Deputy leader Yaya Jallow, has not defected to the Ruling APRC party contrary to GRTS news cast that one Yaya Jallow a UDP supporter defected to the ruling party, thereby causing confusion within the opposition circles within the country, said Saihou Mballow a strong UDP big gun in New York City, here in the United States.

YAYA JALLOW IS STILL IN THE UDP!!!

Mballow called the Freedom Newspaper to caution our editorial team to be mindful about faked reports being circulated by the APRC that Yahya Jallow defected to their party. “ Pa Nderry, there is this report being peddled by the APRC, that Yaya Jallow, our deputy party leader had defected to the APRC. This report is false. I know that your paper always report breaking news stories. I’m calling you to tell you that this report is false. Just be informed.” Mballow retorted.

According to Mballow, he personally telephoned Yaya Jallow, who told him that he also learned about the GRTS report on the defection of Yaya Jallow to the APRC. “ Yaya Jallow, said he is still part and parcel of the UDP and would sue the government if his portifolio as Deputy party leader was mentioned in the GRTS announcement. He said he never defected to the APRC.” Mballow told the Freedom Newspaper.

Mr. Mballow said Yaya Jallow told him that he received series of phone calls from friends, family members, and party supporters abroad enquiring about his defection to the APRC. “We do not know where the APRC came with the name Yaya Jallow. Yaya Jallow had not move an inch. Perhaps, they want to disrupt Darboe’s US visit by coming up with such faked news.” Mballow alleges.

In response, the Freedom Newspaper, Managing Editor Pa Nderry M’Bai, told Mballow that his paper, was yet to receive such a tip off and would not hesitate to authenticate such reports from Banjul. “Thanks for contacting us. This paper always double check stories filed by our correspondents. In as much, as we want to be the first to report the news, we do not compromise accuracy. Our credibility as a news medium squarely lies on our objectivity and accuracy on news items we published on a daily basis. Be rest assured that, this paper will verify the said piece if forwarded to our news room.” Mr. M’Bai assured Mballow.
