Dear Mr.Editor,

                     The objective of a free press is not only to critisise,but to inform and where appropriate be generous with praise.I welcome your report on the Presidents lack of patience with the judiciary and his displeasure at the absense of urgency awarded to due process of law, for which fundamental human rights are compromised.Bravo ! Mr.President !

Your further report on the downturn of interest in The Banjul Observer ,must surely fall squarely on  the round shoulders of my auld aquaintance..Dr.Sajah Taal.This intinerant come back boy surely has more lives than a cheshire cat.In the competitive world of print media , the requirement for credibility and truth are the spearhead of transparency.A change of leadership at the Observer would therefore be most welcome.

May i take this oppertunity to praise the work of The First Lady .Her efforts for the welfare of The Gambia;s Children does her much credit and enhances the Nation with her poise and elegance.

In my earlier editorial ,i suggested the right signals are needed to the Democratic World.I believe i can hear them ..loud and clear.......
