Analysing the new breed-Jammeh's case is a very sad story.
It is amazing to see President Jammeh use government functionaries handle positions at the IEC and call it an Independent Commission? It was widey believed that Harry Sambou was a misfit at the IEC.Yes he was a misfit for decent democrats but he was so fit in that position when it comes to the APRC's legacy.Mr Sambou has been with the NIA before receiving his marching orders in the past. Sambou was known as 'Tammeh' or a filter per se.He was called this 'Tammeh' because he leaked the secrets that were supposed to be kept in the NIA files for years.Unfortunately for the APRC government Sambou could not hold on to those secrets even beyond one hour! Thiswas the very reason why Sambou could not pull with former directors from Samba Bah,Kujabi to Marenah his arch foe. This is why he was being rotated around different offices like a windmill.Prior to the Jammeh days Sambou was at the social welfare office. I met someone Sambou spoke to these past days.The guy said Sambou is bragging saying he knows Halifa Sallah because they were in the same department before.This added to what Jammeh's paper in DC said sends clear signals that the coup saga is hoax and an extensive open field for witch hunting.

I could not stop listening to the officer I met today.This story I heard authenticates many facts around Jammeh's presidency.Jammeh as the president is doing bad but trying to mask everything with threats.His probem stems from very basic reasons.Most of those who served or are still serving as Jammeh loyalists end up hating the man because they stay with him every moment of his life.Ultimately they come to discover the actual Jammeh.What happens after that? They hate him because he is so fake when one knows what obtains in his shell.This is the whole reason why President will ever keep on changing guards,accusing close buddies and the like.He causes it because of the way he conducts himself when in close contact with these officers.
The same thing happened when Almamo Manneh came too close to Jammeh and his former wife Tuti Faal.The guards saw the real Jammeh in and out of his office.Finally Almamo knew his boss was nothing but a catastrophe for Gambia.He stood up to the man and was crushed.Jammeh has the ability to kill but that does not mean he is not fake and incompetent to rule the country. Adolf Hitler had the SS but does that mean he was not a despot?
There are officers I met today near the office of SOS lands but I was amazed after listening to what they had to say...
NIA's Fractures have already started...Harry Sambou and Ngorr Secka...are they going to be able to control the agency?
While buying black mint the NIA gate I looked through and saw an old friend of mine.This was a chance for me.We walked along the pavement towards DOS Justice,my friend started by praising the president because we were close to the NIA headquarters.To my amazement he changed all of a sudden.He was so angry and furious against what is taking place in Banjul these days.He gave me serious and implicating details regarding what was cooked up in depth.He said to me..." Boy just watch and see,we are just trying to mask our real feelings at this stage but in reality we are not going to accept this nonsense as time goes on..." He continued by refering to what he called nepotism or favouritism.
The nepotism he refered to was centered around the appointment of Lang Tombong Tamba a jola and Harry Sambou his own boss who is also a jola.Both men are holding key positions while coming from President Jammeh's minority tribe.Whether Jammeh is using nepotism or not having people of his ethnic group in those key secuirty positions does not tell well at all.
My friend on Ngorr Secka the new deputy NIA boss.
In a jovial way my friend asked me if I know Ngorr Secka's nicknames? I chuckled and then said a soft.."No".Then he started reeling about the guy.He said Ngorr Secka is known as Mr 'Bow-tie' he likes dressing in a glittering way,he talks like a lady.Infact according to my friend's description I am thinking if Ngorr would not be categorized in certain milieus when he travels abroad.Dressing like that while talking like a lady means something in other places,hope Ngorr will be educated on that one before he starts travelling on his own.All I know about Ngorr personally is that he is a tall lanky fellow who has been around the presidency since the time of former president Jawara.My friend was right in a way because Ngorr likes putting on fancy suits with a bow-tie.Ngorr talks like a lady as well.Anyway what matters in this case is the job he is assigned to handle.Actually if my memory serves me right I think my friend said Ngorr is a Junior Secondary school product.For Ngorr to write extensive and comprehensive reports is anyone's guess.
On Harry Sambou the new NIA Boss...
For Harry I really did not need my friend to tell me anything.However my friend and I converged on one thing about their boss.Harry Boy is known for three very bad habits that are a danger to the society if a man like that occupies the directorate of an Intellgicence Service.
Mr Sambou drinks excessively,he frequently goes to spots where he can reveal a lot unconciously,he also fabricates against people when his interest is at stake.These are dangerous habits for someone occupying a position like that.I am going to back my assertions with facts.First of all President Jammeh can simply ask Sambou if he was not or does not go to Joof's Bar on Leman street? This was a place I have been meeting boy Harry on so many occasions.He might have forgotten but I 'Bulfaaleh' will never forget the drunk Harry complaining endlessly about the current statusquo when he was first fired.It pains some people when they see certain fake souls trying to impress the presidency when they are given jobs.Thats not good,it means the person is a hypocrite.
President Jammeh hurriedly came back in an angry mood,whistling like a cricket all over the place.He did not even settle down before appointing people to these positions.This is why he felt disappointed by Sang Pierre Mendy. Pierre according to the source I met was simply implicated but he knows nothing about any coup.Infact not a single person amongst those arrested knows about this coup.This according to NIA operative I met is hoax.There was no coup attempt.This is a result of infighting where some fellows decided to mislead Jammeh so that they can use this eliminate people they hate. We can vouch for many on Jammeh's list.Gambians should not be surprised when Jammeh decides to sacrifice those who misled him as usual and then apologise to MC Cham and others.
