Furious President Jammeh arrests the pregnant wife of former Army boss Mrs Awa Ndure Cham
We will never sit around watching these atrocities and then praise Jammeh like others do.The world has to know what is taking place in The Gambia these days.The Red Cross has to visit these people with immediate effect(borrow Jammeh's own version) at Mile Two Central Prisons.People are jamm packed in smalll cells.no food,no water,no shower,no decency.The Gambian President himself has been spotted in this place.People know that he has been participating in torturing his enemies from 1994 to now.He comes in masked with his gangs.This is what Gambians are whispering in the market.
One thing is certain though,Lai Conteh and others were tortured to coma.Their relatives dare not speak but that is going on.This is why Jammeh hates these online papers.He hates them because they are his soul challenge now.No one is fabricating stories against Jammeh,all we predicted about his so-called negotiations has been proven right.
Any person supporting Jammeh to maim,kill or beat these detainees to coma knows that he or she is doing so because it is not them or their relatives.Even if the Jammeh government denies this on lookers saw them arrest Ndure Cham's wife.It was reported by all world media houses.This woman is pregnant! She is pregnant!How on earth can any person say President Jammeh is a fine democrat in this?
The Red Cross offcials I met yesterday said they have been trying all they can to meet these inmates but to no avail so far.Infact some of the relatives of these people have even offered to buy gas for the Red Cross officials if that would stop them from going to see what is taking place in Mile Two.
It is being reported that food is not enough for the inmates.
Please Red Cross do not be discouraged just go and see for yourselves.In The Gambia security is done in two ways.They speak English and say nice words to those of you who cannot speak our languages but when you leave they use wolof,mandingo and other dialects to humiliate these detainees.Please use local offcials or learn Gambian languages if you are a foreign official.
President Jammeh's NIA suggests the decentrilisation of Prisoners to undisclosed locations...
One thing the Red Cross needs to be educated on is that President Jammeh's Daily Briefing suggested for him to decentralise some of the detainees in different locations in The Gambia. He does this,he did it in the past and he is doing now.
An example is what he did with one Kujabi last year. President Jammeh forcefully transported one Ansumana Kujabi to a police station in Gambia Sara near Basse.The man was detained there for months incommunicado.His relatives in Talinding,Dobong and Bwiam believed Ansumana was dead.He was subjected to severe torture during his detention.The Red Cross should not also be taken away by people who come forward saying they were not tortured.They may say this to save their skins from further torture or being arrested again. There are locations Jammeh has already targeted when transfering these detainees.
In what our informant read in his PDB they are:Kartong,Kudang plus other police or military installations.Some of them will be detained in Jammeh's own village. Most likely Pierre Mendy and Lai Conteh will suffer a lot under Jammeh's torture chambers.Red Cross please.Foreign diplomats please do not play common diplomacy here.This is serious.The Gambia may burst into flames at anytime step in and tell Jammeh and his government the truth.
