The government of President Yahya Jammeh, has been in the business of trying to black mail neighboring Senegal. Few months ago, Jammeh dispatched a letter to the United Nations accusing President Wade of trying topple his government. Jammeh’s letter was well circulated within and outside the country. Today, the alleged coup suspects tried to implicate Senegal in this capital offence. Ring leader Ndure Cham’s recent visits to Senegal was high on the coupists testimonies before the GRTS media trial. We are disturbed by such revelations. Senegal will not, and we repeat aid and abet such undemocratic moves. The alleged coupists should speak the truth and refused to be used by Yahya to black mail a sister country.

COUP SUSPECTS MENTIONED SENEGAL-!!! SOURCE
Little did this administration knows that such incriminating testimonies will further worsen relationship between the two countries. Jammeh should be very careful about the way he handles matters of this nature. Wade is an elder statesman who should be respected. He don’t deserved such black mailing.
Assuming that fugitive Ndure Cham was in Dakar, there is little that the Wade government can do to get him extradited. Under the Geneva Convention, he is entitled to sanctuary. This is what President Jammeh fails to understand. Treaties are treaties and nations are expected to respect such international conventions.
The two countries shared many things in common and its people should maintain the long cordial relationship that existed between the two sister countries. These accusations and counter accusations could lead to something unpredictable. It is better to start a conflict resolutions than to wait for a full blown conflict.
To some extent, we cannot blame the alleged coupists. They were denied the right to decide for themselves by the state. The interrogations, we learned was marred by torture and death threats. The mention of Senegal’s name should not surprise Gambians because Jammeh wanted to establish a case against the Wade government. He wanted the world to buy his cooked story that Senegal was bent on overthrowing his regime.
OUSIANOU DARBOE IS CHILDISH!!!
Do we hear Darboe saying that he walked out of NADD with a hammer? Well Darboe’s New York meeting was dominated by the NADD hammer. What hammer is the mansa in the making talking about? Or this was the hammer that he used to tear NADD apart? You see…. Darboe is powerful, you know. This Dude was all the time armed while dinning with NADD. There is no doubt the Darboe hammer disintegrated NADD. The Jangfa hammer, chey…..
Ousainou also did not spare his critics who accuses him of being trabalist. Read this unedited report filed on The Gambia Post Keita Mansaring.

"I WALKED OUT OF NADD WITH A HAMMER WITHOUT REGRET"-SAYS LAWYER DARBOE.
Mr. Ousanou Darboe in addressing huge crowd of Gambians in New York has said that he walked out of NADD with a hammer. However, the symbolic meaning of which was not disclosed by the verant LAWYER-POLITICIAN.Through his explanation one may come to conclusion that a special hammer was designated to knock him down in the political raise.
Mr. Darboe said the coming of NADD brought hope and enthusiastic feeling for every Gambians.Because they see NADD as the ultimate solace for them to anchor their political destiny and to make a definite end to self perpetuating rule in the Gambia he noted. He went on to state that rather unfortunate some members within the executives and beyond namely, the UK and the United States have ulterior motives for the coalition.
He said it deems it necessary for him to walk out of NADD because it is no longer based on trust and the interest of Gambians superseded anything.
Therefore,he is left with no option than to "blow the head of the hammer".Darboe said since the signing of the MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU)some have noted mistrust and schemes that has surfaced up to the time he leaves NADD.The MOU has clearly indicated that if there is an impasse, they will go back to the electorates which is never done why he remarked rhetorically.
"I believed if that is done no one will compete UDP at grass root level,he pointed.Darboe did not hesitate to quote his political ally Amadou Bah saying in "politics numbers mather",meaning UDP is the dominant and majority opposition party in the Gambia.Mr. Darboe also said he told theNADD executives the consequence of registering NADD as a political party. However, they did not listen, what is the result now ? he noted. The UDP/NRP coalition astute leader, vehementlychallenged and refutes the rumours that without NADDno one can remove President Jammeh,2006 election.
He said a UDP/NRP coalition will remove Jammeh come October, 2006 without any qualm because people are ready for a positive change.Darboe also fumed at people who call him a tribalist especially those in the internet whom he described as "internet
worriors".He said they did not accuse Amadou Bah and Assan Musa Camara as tribalists because they alsoquite from NADD, " why Darboe" ?,he questioned. Thosewho accused me of being tribalist are the tribaliststhemselves because they are devoid of idears and wantto use that as political weapon.
Mr Darboe also assured his supporters that he is a manwith integrity and dignity which he always want topreserve for posterity purposes. He said he will noteven spend a single day in State House in addition tolimit of terms as in the MOU OF NADD if voted in as NADD member. He said some in fact accused him that hewill not relinquished power upon his five year term. Hecategorically denied that because of power and greedhe left NADD.
