Nigerian reacts to Governor Kalu's alleged graft case in Gambia!! By Eleugwu Joseph, Nigerian
Orji Kalu has not been convicted yet. Everyone in Nigeria is watching the outcome of the result. First of all, Orji Kalu must have opened the bank in The Gambia before he became the governor of Abia State if I am not mistaken. May be few businesses after the govenorship. I read and followed the report from Abuja newspaper how EFCC is handling the corruption case with past governors, senators, community leaders, and other corruption leaders.
We are all happy to support EFCC on going corruption cases. There was no any article written that mentioned the president of The Gambia involved with the on-going corruption case in Nigeria.
America government does not run background check if an alien wants to open business. If they did illegal alliens will not have businesses in United States. There are too many illegal alliens who have businesses in United States. You and I are aware of illegal aliens with businesses in United States. I want you to go on Nigeriawebsite: Nigeriaworld.com. There was article written posted on the 26th of July by Ise-Oluwa Ige, Vanguard.
The tiltle of the paper is "Commissioner accuse Kalu of operating foreign accounts: The names he reported were Dauda Njie, Alhaji Momodu, Alhaji Taure, and Alaji Bassade. Nobody knows their nationalilty. The reporter was very careful not to mention their nationality. We are all waiting for the best result to get rid off corruption as a pandemic disease in Nigeria. Nigerians are tired of misappropriation of their national cake.
Corruption is pandemic in Nigeria. I hope that God will fish out those politicians and individuals who have been used for their greed. Kalu is not convicted for corruption until he is proven guilty by EFCC. If he is convicted for the crime he will be visiting his counterparts in prison. Nobody is above the law in Nigeria. There are many of them to face trial on corruption. Thanks for your article. Eleugwu Joseph
Editors note: We stood by our story. Yahya Jammeh is indeed implicated in the said graft. We contacted our sources in The Gambia and they confirmed that Jammeh had hands in the said deal. Our Nigerian brother would be shocked about the outcome of this probe. Ours is not indict Jammeh or anybody else. We are also interested to report the truth. Read the Freedom Newspaper in days to come to get the true picture of this deal. There is a special file on G Trust Bank. The Governor was welcomed into the Gambia by Yahya Jammeh. Matter of fact, Jammeh is a shareholder to one of his businesses. He recruited some people to execute power of attorney on his behalf. We never misquoted any reporter. We used our own journalistic skills to beef up the story. It's up to Yahya Jammeh and his government to defend them selves.
