I read the revelations I saw on how Omar Bah narrowly escaped the killing squad under Gambian President Jammeh. This is absolutely true. I know the agent in question who revealed these things. NIA has unexpected and unknown agents working for them. This was started as a backing invissible structure created by former NIA officers like Susso and others. The same idea was supported by Lamin Saine a blind man who is working for the agency.
NIA has physically disabled people working for the agency,most of whom are posted at places like Barra terminal and the Banjul International airport. This is not a joke. Infact these handicap agents helped Jammeh's agency plan succeed against Deyda. A dumb person was once used to infiltrate the then former point newspaper premises before it was closed and reopened. This agent was drive near the site and then the agents he came with stayed in a vehicle near Tumbuctu book store waiting. The dumb agent was sent to drop a letter for publication. This letter was addressed to President Jammeh. It was meant to implicate other NIA agents at the time. It was also meant to be used as a bait to put Deyda in hot soup then accuse him of meddling with the country's security aparatus. The agent came in with a letter addressed to the daily observer. It appeared as a mistake but the NIA(where I work) know that they wanted Deyda to do the job. They knew if they addressed it directly to Deyda he might have suspected foul play. They came to him as if it was a general letter for all journalists that was meant to past through the daily observer. At that time the daily observer showed no signs of acrimony between its staffers and Deyda(or the point). One of the journalists who met the dumb agent is Mr Pa Nderry Mbai. I was in a van and I saw Pa Nderry speak to the dumb agent. Pa Nderry did know he was being watched. Him Pa Nderry safed Deyda that day. He redirected the dumb agent to take the letter to the place it was addressed and also told the agent that Deyda was not in at the time.
Pa Nderry Mbai please scratch your head and recall you might have forgotten but just remember when you met a "mooma" trying to give you a letter for publication and you turned him down. This agent was a student before being enrolled into the secret service.
So you see how the NIA operates when they want someone dead?
The other thing is that the NIA handicap agents who are stationed at the airport and Barra revealed to our agency details about Fatou Jaw Manneh these past weeks. Fatou has been traveling to and from Dakar. On her first trip she met one Mr Demba Jawo(according to our report).
Infact the same report said Fatou gave some money to some people in Dakar as gift. She has been in Dakar last week or so again. She is being trailed by these agents just so she knows.
Omar Bah was not only going to be killed easily. He was to undergo very severe torture before being killed. The state wanted him to say who his sponsors are. They suspected that he was being sponsored as a journalist by Pa Nderry and Ensa Bokari Sey the former Ambassador of Gambia.
President Jammeh hates these two people very much. He thinks that the man called Sey can say so many secrets about him. This is why Omar Bah was going to suffer. Infact the same NIA during investigations asked Fatou Jaw Manneh about the same people again. I know that Fatou is called a brave girl but she has to be very careful. The other agents who work for us are Gambian journalists here in Banjul. Some of them are trained journalists. One of them used to work for the GRTS-Gambia Radio and Television Services. She is the one who engineered the firing of former SOS Dr Scatrel Janneh. The same lady called Omar Bah on the day he was leaving The Gambia. After her call the army went to look for the man Bah. I will not mention her name for now but Gambians have to be careful of that lady. She knows herself anyway.
