Instructions were given for Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay to be summoned for questioning-Lamarana Jallow reveals!
By Lamarana Jallow, son of The Gambia.

Dear Editors,

The Freedom Newspaper should be saluted for exposing our Speaker Fatou Jahumpa  Ceesay. The intelligence community here are busy gathering bit and pieces to indict the Speaker. Your recent report on FJC is creating a big confusion here in Banjul. The report is revealing and scary. For your information, the Daily Observer too is being investigated. Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay has been caught pants down this time round.  We are not interested to know your source, but it's very easy to connect the dots based on the facts presented by your reporter. Your source was Fatou's pet boy. He knows a lot about the Speaker. Your source got it right. All what he said were later confirmed by the investigators. Instructions were given for Fatou to be summoned for questioning shortly after the story was published on Freedom. There is a special case file opened for the Speaker. Her involvement on  the March coup has devastated the President. Any piece of information relating to the March coup is never taken lightly by oga Jammeh. He is poised to wipeout all hidden coup conspirators in  our midst. I was in my office when Ogaa drawn my attention to the said report published by the Freedom Newspaper. He showed me the printed hard copy of the report, where the paper linked Fatou to Governor Kalu and the events leading to the March foiled coup. A task force has been set up to investigate the Speaker. The National Assembly are also angered by the Speaker's double standards. A lot of things are being said about the speaker. Information Minister Gaye is also angry about Fatou's allegations against her.

I  was among the  team of investigators assigned to check the phone records of the Daily Observer at GAMCEL. Our investigations confirmed that somebody uses Saja Taal's office line to call Captain Bunja Darboe's number.  We are yet to know this caller. Since Saja is the custodian of the said phone he is our prime suspect. That doesn't mean that he was the caller, but in intelligence gathering anybody close to the scene might have direct or indirect involvement. We expect Taal to help us with clues to trace the caller. Saja is apparently denying knowledge about the said caller.

Another disturbing issue was FJC remarks on Ndure Cham's failed coup attempt. Her phone records are also being probed at this hour. I can tell you that FJC is in serious trouble!!!  The best she can do is to abscond if she get the chance. She is suppose to visit the US soon, but I doubt it  if she would be given travel clearance to leave this country. I handle Fatou's case file.

Amadou Samba's relationship with Ogaa has also been strained. There is more to the story. The intelligence community believe that the Observer must have hands in the said coup?? If the caller was a reporter/Editor of that sort,  how did he know that there was a coup in the first place? Who assigned him to call Bunja Darboe? Was Saja Taal coordinating the operation? These are the questions being asked by our men.

Our investigations also revealed that the Speaker had close ties with the person who called Bunja Darboe. Fatou called the Daily Observer that evening. We have the printouts of the phone records.  Your paper has been  blocked in The Gambia, but we have access to it. Most of your stories relating to security issues are subject to interpretation by our men.

Governor Kalu is being advised not to step his foot in Banjul. There is an arrest warrant issued for him. Kalu has angered the President!!! The President was not happy about Kalu's secret relationship with the Speaker. The President is also trying to impress the authorities in Lagos by trying to victimize the speaker because of Kalu's graft scandal.

Just watch out what's going to happen in days to come. The Speaker risked being prosecuted by the state. There are a lot plans hatched for FJC.  If she can run, she should run. I witnessed most the meetings convened at the state house. I know what Jammeh's plans are. FJC will soon join Baba Jobe at the Mile Two prisons. FJC allowed to be used and would surely pay for the price. There is distrust between her and the President and cabinet. They call her the woman with different mouths. A liar, slanderer, a 419 operative, player and all that crab.

Fatou has embarrassed her husband, family and colleagues. I will keep you posted about her case. The President is upset with her. He said he don't want to see any delegation of elders. Jammeh believe that  Ndure Cham got the backing of Banjulians. FJC must clear his doubts or risked going to jail. Abraka Bandirambeh. Hackundenalla Heckawellaye….
