Freedom Newspaper Mail Bag:What Our readers say today?
By Bakary Sanyang, Minnesota

Hi Mr. Editor,

I am proud of you and your colleagues. I  think all Gambians have woken  up from their  slumber. Please allow me  space. I have   few words for all Gambians around Minnesota. I  read the piece  the So- called President of the Gambia Association in Minnesota Dawda wrote about the our bridge collapse and I  thank him for the piece. I think we should all  grieve and morn for the families as good Muslims and Christians.   Mr.Editor,  I  have one doubt  about this  so called leadership. 1.There are two Gambians Deported under his so-called leadership few months ago and One Under detention for Two months.  I wonder why a  President can stand in front of us immigrants here and said those people are  not contributing members even though they are Gambians and their  families paid for their  Contributions.

During my entire stay in the United States,  I have never heard any African Community leaders say such a nonsense  and hypocritical  words against  their  people.  Imagine how they struggled  to get here. They have  families back home and loved  ones. This is a disgrace. The deportees are Sedy Ceesay and Lamin Drammeh who was a member of the  executive Committee. We have Lamin Dibba Known as MINO in immigration detention for Two months now. The committee under the so-called leadership of Dawda is saying that  he is not a contributing member, so they would not help to grant him bail.  This is shameful for us and we should take matters in our own hands and kick them away and select people who are educated and not pompous of their  wealth and fame. Dawda should understand that this is America and no matter what, you could be a victim someday. I know him very well and he should be  careful ,other wise I  will reveal his …..    Imagine Lamin Drammeh a prominent member of the executive  Commettee, known for his hard work and love for everyone. Now he is deported and struggling for his life back home.  Could you imagine that happen to a Gambian  under there watch ? Our thanks to Sulayman Janneh Known as SAUL JANNEH for his prompt  action to inform the committee  before Lamin was deported even though they ignored  him and also thanks to  a  good member of the committee Wuuyaa Sanneh, the NYANCHO.

Dawda the so-called President, Lamin Dibba  and Lamin Comma who doesn't know we know he is not even using his name here in America.  You as the Committee  should change that so-called constitution otherwise a bombshell is on the way soon on immigration issues.  ONE GAMBIA AND NATION AND NO BARBARIC  ,WICKEDNESS AND DIFFERENCES.  Dawda your number one priority as President of the Gambian Community is to be concerned about the plight of immigrants who risked being deported.  Thanks  for  the space. I just want people to know the truth and we should spend our resources  for Gambians in any situation  here in America.  Email me if you  need me. Please  publish  this issue for all to see.  Baks.

His opinion do not reflect or change the editorial policy of this paper. His views are  his views. Period. The author is not a staffer nor affiliated with Freedom. This paper censored some of the allegations contained in Sanyang's letter for editorial reasons.

The Freedom Newspaper in its quest to strike a balance before running the said opinion letter from Bakary Sanyang, we emailed President Dawda Sowe, who was yet to respond to our mail. We also contacted Wuyai Sanneh an executive member of the said organization who was indisposed for comments. Repeated phone calls to reach him had proven abortive. We were greeted by a voice mail.

The Freedom Newspaper would be more than glad to hear  Mr.Sowe  and his team's side of the story on Bax's allegations. This paper harbours no grudges  against Dawda Sowe  and his team. We hope they will clear the air in the interest of fair reporting and for the credibility of their own organization. Thanks...

MR Gibreel or what ever you are called or you call your self,  let me tell you about the Freedom Newspaper. It is for human beings and not for  fools like Jammeh . My letter was addressed  to Jammeh which was  put in the light. I dont know you and do not know if you have any knowledge of the security in the Gambia. I am a trained soldier and know very well the security of the Gambia. The Gambia Army is divided and Jammeh is the divider. He is only focoused  on  his personal securityand not the state. The people around him have  special training and more equiped than  the ones in the Army camps.

Presently, Jammeh is personally more secured than The Gambia. Senegal has a professional  and matured Army that can remove Jammeh within  24 hour.   That is 100% certain. You can take an example of the Farafenni  Attack. How many rebels captured the whole camp?

Mr Gibreel,  let us open our eyes and fight to leberate the Gambia from Jammeh's evil. Nobody is safe from Jammeh.  It's is better to protect your self or one day you will be a victim. Let us not be divided against each other but be united. And let us not look our personal interest  and destroy our tomorrow.  This will be my last response  to you or any one who is against me. I  dont have time for any body but Jammeh. I want to  increase his madness
