Dear Mr.Editor,
Sometimes when submitting another piece for your consideration,I feel like Tarzen ,flying through the trees,searching for another branch to propel me further.Trusting to the next branch not to betray me and send me crashing to the ground in humilliation and grievious pain.I am always warey, that amongst the folage some African braveheart,stands ready to fire his trusty spear to nail my swinging carcas to the nearest tall tree.Nevertheless...here i shout again, Ah oooAha oooAhooo..cough ! cough ! cough ! {Laugh}
My long time friend,Mr Amadou Samba,has offered me much of his precious time over the years,even as lately as just 10 weeks ago.I feel i must stand by him as i have with you and other Gambians,for not to do so would surely expose a bias that is worse than silence.Let me place this statement first......If any Gambian ,no matter of there position,status,or political persusion,were ever to be found guilty by a court of Law,to crimes against the poor or the voiceless....I would be happy to be the hangman.But always remember, that in both our religions...there is a greater court that awaits us all...The Judgement of God !
Mr.Samba, is that Jewel in the Crown of The Gambia,that shines brightly,and serves the economic hope of all Gambians.He is one of the Greatest employers of Gambian Labour.His enterprises are vast and cover the length and breath of economic prosperity of the country.To project a well aimed spear to his economic heart,is akin to leveling the whole of The Gambia.I have long since held the view..that Mr Amadou Samba ,is the true King of The Gambia.His legacy,will endure long after the sands of time have washed over the body of Mr .Yes Yes Jammeh.
His close relationship to Mr.Jammeh can not be denied.He is that gentleman who held my letter ,after the expulsion of Mr Bharat
Joshi.The Gentleman who pleaded with me to to Block the British assault on the Gambias economic lifeline.A person such as Mr Jammeh..who curses everything and everyone,could not stand alone to aid the Gambias daily survival.I am certain that in a perfect World,Mr Samba, would choose a different companion,as a Mentor.The fact that he endures this uneasy relationship,can be viewed only two ways...he is either a great Gambian Patriot,,or a self seeker who is milking his position.Until such times as the entire truth is known...I stand ready to offer him the benefit of this rightful and grievious doubt.A man who could shed clear light on this position, is the Gambian Minister of Finance..Mr Bala Gaye.I have read the financial reports of this gifted Gambian.It may be that what you aspire to uncover in the Social Security field,is clear proof that the Gambia is suffering extreme financial crisis and that resources are being diverted to areas of deep need..in the short term.Whilst Mr.Jammeh continues to pour scorn on Britain,Mr Samba Frequents our shores in search of education for his son,and engage British Buisness, to supply his vast Empire of Global Buisness.It is Gambians such as Mr Amadou Samba,who donate endless streams of money into good causes for the people.I would go as far as to say..that without Amadou Samba...the Gambia of today would return to the Jungle very quickly.His enterprise,is clearly head and shoulders above any other Gambian.Do not be too hasty to judge this extremely intelligent and well educated buisnessman.For to do so...will cast a stone too far.
I shall quickly retire to my bunker,to await the thousands of spears about to engage my position.But before this is done....Mark my words..well.
