Africa! once again here comes sorrow.
Dear fallen heroes!
My salutations to you Nkrumah!
To you Lumumba!
To you and you and you!
To no one else other than the living, rising or fallen heroes of the brown plains of a weeping giant!
Oh No! Africa our souls are weeping in pain and acrid agony.
This agony is smoky!
It is rocky,hilly and deep.
Weep! Africa Weep!
Along those plains of the brown giant, fever sees the killings!
Yes! Our souls are feverish.
We are shivering in lame pain!
We are numb and dumb in this dark and chilling tunnel of endless harsh marks!
Stop it brothers! Stop it sisters!
Stop the matchets, bury the axes, hide the arrows!
Oh No!
I saw a roasted torso in Kigali.
I saw a screaming face in Nimba County!
Dark days in Saalone!
Raw war covering raw laws!
Was this part of Nkrumah's speech of the century?
No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ghana please see my tears!
They are rolling from my eye lashes down to my sad chin!
Brother was shouting for help in a ditch.
Brother was shooting and hacking in unruly anger!
I say Why???!!!
Sad fate!
Sickly faith!
When I think about Kyere on my pillow...
All I can hear is fear....
In the heart of an ambitious villager!
How many have been taught by Ghana?
Oh Lord! what a historical stigma!
Ghana please see my tears!
Ghana please hear me sob at a corner!
Ghana on that dark day wishes were not horses!
That is why the begging brothers could not ride!
They died in pain, angony and ambition!
Dear villager of the land!
Please weep with me and see my tears!
History is such an unfair monster.
Ghana the gold coast where kings tethered horses on gold nuggets!
Oh History why? why? why is the villager running after greener pastures?
This why, has no long tail.
Its is just too short!
Brother is from Africa then killed within Africa.
Full stop!
Aaaaah! My heart is bleeding!
Bleeding and bleaching everything about despair.
This bleeding is erasing despair.
It is germinating hope and courage!
Vengeance is for God.
Truth is God's arm!
Ghana please weep with me and see my tears!
There on that plateau Nkrumah widened the dream.
He saw total Independence of Africa as a big ball of hope and joy.
He did not see threatening mercenaries.
He saw Akosombo dam for all and sundry.
He saw a united Africa where brother loves sister and sister loves brother.
How many more shall be chopped all in the name of power and salvation?
The salvation army of brutality!
Crazy senses!
Oh Lord of the great universe!
See my tears!
Ghana! Oh Ghana!
Not all wishes are the same.
I remember my transit at Accra airport.
A place for historical icons.
What a night enroute from Yaounde!
Ghana we love you!
God! Please tell Ghana!
Tell the Icon of Africa how much we love her!
Ghana! you are one of those historical torches of the brown continent!
Your price cannot be weeping graves!
Your price is a huge medal on that huge chest of a historical giant!
A la Fin! Weep not Ghana!
Weep not!
Light is not flight.
Light shines!
Wait for the light it will shine!
May brother's soul rest in perfect peace!!!
