Michael Scales Reacts to Modou Sisay's letter!!
By Michael Scales UK.

Dear Mr.Editor,
                     Thank you for forwarding the e/mail from Mr .Moudou Sisay, dated 19th August 2007.I am unsure as to wether Mr Sisay,curretly resides within the U.K. But no matter.My initial response would be to agree with almost ALL that he writes and therefore there is little issue between us.However as this Gentleman has taken the time to highlight his opinion and concern, i would be less than generous not to explain my own views in response by Paragraph.

1}   IRAQ...

The War, waged on Iraq allied to our long time friends..the Americans, was in my view, the single biggest mistake perpetrated by The United Kingdom since Suez.I do not share the view of our current Prime Minister ..The Rt, Hon.,Mr Gorden Brown, that Britains standing in the World,is at an greater point, at this time.My own view is that Britain has been grieviously damaged, by this arguably illegle incurrsion into Iraqs Sovereign Territory.The last reported death toll that i have seen , stands at 700,000.However it is a fact that ,the overwhelming majority of these deaths are at the hands of Muslim factions killing each other by terrorist methods.One incident reported in our media, was that a female child , whose only crime was to take the gift of a chocolate bar from an American soldier,was immediately strung up to the nearest tree and hanged.....God rest her sole, to eternal peace....
It is undoubted that American anger to the events of 9/11 sought to use military might against,the Middle East to inflict its power and retribution,to a willing and obvious target.The role of the British should have been to exert our maturity and wise council to seek other more peaceful and less catastrophic means to engage an honerable solution.I agree entirely, that the Intelligence {sexed up} was woefully inacurate.The weapons of mass destruction and the 45 minute capability of Saddam to discharge missiles against the West , contained within these reports ..have been proved woefully inadequate.
It may be a clue as to the overall relationship of America and Britain, to view papers released after the 30 year secrecy clause....whereby President Rooseveldt, and Winston Churchill, met aboard an American Cruiser in Mid Atlantic at the time of the Battle of Britain.Churchill begged for American assistance, to which Rooseveldt, wanted access to the British Colonies in return.As weak and as vulnerable as we were to defeat and occupation by the Nazis,Churchill God Bless Him refused.The further agreed negotiation, for American assistance .came in the form of Lease Lend.In essence ,we British morgaged our nation to crippleing debt for more than 2 generations.Weve only recently made the final instalment.Why then Britain should , committ to adding to Americas wrath in Iraq ..does to me make no sense.It should also be realised that Sir Anthony Edens,position was destroyed over Suez, when the Americans pulled support for the anglo french invasion of Eygpt.I am by no means a pacifist, my brothers have served in Kenya,The Congo,Suez, and my father at Alemein.My Grandfather survived The Somme.British Blood has fertilised the soils of the World for centuries.I am of the view that Churchill gave as a Young Parliamentarian...That Britains influence..to the World...has on the whole, and it is on the whole these things must be judged,, has been a kindly and a Godly influence.
This response that i offer  is very much abreviated.I stand by my published letter in the Banjul Observer, two days after 9/11..that reconcilliation is the only solution to the curse of Terrorism.
2}
I have only spoken in the very highest terms about Gambias Politicians.{Read My Articles}My beef with President Jammeh...can be reconciled...i have left the door open...I wrote..i am prepared to meet with him at any time and any place at my own expense...to reconcile our respective positions.I donated my reputation ..to his commitment to democracy...i have yet to see the fruits of my labour.
3}
There should have been a court case over cash for Honours..the law should have been allowed to give its verdict...The Law shouldnt only be done....it should be seen to be done.
4}
I agree entirely, about Mr Menendz, the same as paragraph 3.
5}
Human Rights, stop and search,the previlence of Blacks to this over Whites, the attack of civil liberties by this present administation.
A report, widely read , by the Adam Smith institute, sights the appauling attack by the Blair administation on civil Liberties in the U.K.It recommends a highly considered panel of Judges to examine and report .to the Government.In the articles by Mr Mbai.from London, he expounds the virtues of Ms.Harriet Harman Q.C. as being a friend of Africa.On the day of that article,i witnessed the appauling plight of a young lady from Zimbabwe.at Manchester Airport, surrounded by customs officials..being deported back to her country.She was suffering from Hiv/Aids.
I have over the years ...paid thousands of pounds to immigration solicitors in the U.K. for Gambian Citizens,who were under threat of deportation.....need i say more.?

Mr Sisay, ask yourself this question....you seem to me to be an honest and concerned citizen ?
If i were standing right now as  Gambian Citizen, attacking my Government,as i do here...How long would you think my life expectancy would Be..?
I rest my case....We are almost in agreement i believe. ?
                                         Thankyou for your generous time.     Michael.
