Meeting experts in Banjul was fresh air for fact finders-President Jammeh will be shocked.
As Ramadan has started every believer will avoid saying what is not true to best of their ability the rest lies in the hands of God. In all honesty everything in this peace is based on very very hard facts. Facts geared towards unveiling the "myth" of President Jammeh's appreciating dalasi. Exactly as I have been telling President Jammeh,if he does not stop trying to baffle a whole nation I will never stop unveiling his deepest secrets and tactics. Sometimes when I 'Bulfaaleh' hybernate President Jammeh should not rejoice. The more silent 'Bulfaaleh' is the worse for President Jammeh's plans towards making a tower of lies within our midst. There are two things, that are, to the disadvantage of President Jammeh which were to the advantage of President Jawara.
These are,one President Jammeh has lower education compared to the former. Two President Jammeh is running the state at a time when there more educated Gambians, more access to the internet and a lot more other latest things that can help interested parties "arrest" any attempt of falsehood coming from the state house. If the former is coupled with the latter then President Jammeh is too shallow and low to be able to fool the Gambians. The Gambia in 2007 is not The Gambia in 1965,1970 and 1994 respectively. This is why President Jammeh needs to be honest to himself and the people therefore stop creating SHORT CUTS! Human sciences do not favour mediocre SHORT CUTS especially those based on "myth". In this piece there will be revelations which will shock many of those who started yelling "praise Jammeh!" Wait a minute before praising the "myth" of a President who feeds his soul on instincts, whims and caprices.
What an expert said on the "myth" of the dalasi big disappointments ahead.....
The words of an expert.... "laymen are jubilating whereas us as people who studied this art for years are weeping in hiding...." I asked her why? Here is what the lady said..."when the dalasi appreciates the commodities should come down to meet the income of the people but in Banjul,Serekunda,Brikama,Basse,The provinces....the direct opposite is happening. The only place on the Gambian soil where commodities are cheap is Kanilai..." She further went on to say this..." People outside that is those in countries like the USA and others in Europe who send money to their relatives are maintaining the leg of a foreign exchange..."
Looking what the expert said above, means the black market's effects are still on in favour of President Jammeh's economics of "myth". A bright example is like whats taking place in Banjul these days was noticed in Freetown during Captain Valentine Strasser's days. Between 1993/94 the Ghanaian cedi and other currencies likewise the dalasi and dollar appreciated in favour of the Sieraleonean currency only for a very short while! We remember when Serge Musa fanatics in Freetown were singing his praises. Serge Musa was Strasser's deputy but many said he was the strong man that brought those changes. That was a lie. Later on what happened? One bag of Sieraleonean currency was equivalent to only $50.00. There are Gambian former students who studied in Freetown who can attest to this fact. The same garbage that was shelved during the early days- ie lessons copied from Rawlings,Strasser and Muamar Ghadafi's green book is being mixed in President Jammeh's kitchen of "myth" once again simple as that. These confusing methods are going to have terrible effects on our people very soon. This time when the dalasi starts rising many will migrate to Guinea Bissau not even Senegal. 'Bulfaaleh's' predictions have never missed their targets please do not believe in these predictions because not believing in them will help anyone skeptical about them see the true story. Sometimes it is better if the reader disbelieves because thats the time skeptics trying to shun critics like me while attempting to fool President Jammeh could be disgraced. They can challenge these predictions if they want and see.
Another expert who was driving with me towards Banjul in the morning..
These are the words of that expert,"....the fact is that, President Jammeh is a criminal who loves using myth in every aspect whether researched or not. If Jammeh wants to meddle with the basics of economic facts he will face sad consequences sooner than later. The only sad part of it is that he is heading the nation by force..." I quizzed the expert once more to throw light on what he exactly means... This is what he said again..."My good friend, economics is a whole discipline,it is science,it is not an art where one can mix colours then start painting desired images. In economics one aspect is more important than anything else that is,HUMAN RESOURCES. Unfortunately this aspect is what President Jammeh has always been neglecting. There is no country in the world where economics can thrive if humanbeings are not respected, where talents are under utilised and researchers are sidelined. President Jammeh's research means what he wants to hear, not what facts present before him..."
I totally agree with the expert as stated above. In every dictatorial era there are those who serve at the pleasure of the president or those who serve towards the interest of the people. Under President Jammeh the latter could open the gates of mile two for someone. Now the choice is between being disgraced, whipped and locked or serve the people then face his wrath. I 'Bulfaaleh' sometimes pity the people who try 'patching' for President Jammeh. Some of them are so scared that they think about going home safe everyday. Why not resign then? The regime is a real sample of that universal movie many call "survival of the fittest". Fit for what? That is the million dollar question.
Where President Jammeh's economics of "myth" is about to sink in total disgrace!
The whole deal has already been relayed in the streets. President Jammeh's men and women talk. These tactics have been revealed by his state house chatter boxes. During these days I 'Bulfaaleh' will expose President Jammeh's economics of "myth" beyond redemption. Trust me I will teach Jammeh another new lesson. Here is what a person who does data rsearch for major financial institutions( a Gambian born expert) said..." The whole deal is myopic and infantile. It is simple economics, and logical common sense which has been hijacked by a shallow person who feeds on myth. The man Jammeh and his so-called economists are forcefully marketing the Dalasi for it to appreciate against major currencies based on speculative circumstances without any productive or output reason...."
Alright when one thinks about the base of production,President Jammeh will jump and tell you..."My tractors will till the land"
I 'Bulfaaleh' has this to continue after listening the wise expert's testimony hereabove with pertinent questions and analysis. Till the land for who and what? Did he locate a market before tilling the land? Who will buy the products and if so at what rate? Did he think about the effects of forcefully marketing the dalasi without a good base for production? Did he think about the index to be pegged against the current cost of living? Did he think about the clerks, teachers, cleaners etc whose salaries stay the same whereas the prices are rising day by day? When the dalasi appreciates and the price for commodities are rising means The Banjul index of living is being matched against that one of Washington,Paris and Moscow! This is the best way to explain the bad days that lie ahead to our people. This is why when senders from abroad wire their dollars back home the recipients get lower dalasi value whereas the same bag of rice they bought a year ago at D700.00 remains there on the shop's counter with the same price tag or more. Then look at the math and see. Who is losing? The sender, the seller or the recipient? All three of them are losing. The sender will be obliged to add more otherwise the recipient will not eat anymore. The recipient maybe losing ,more and more because he or she will be obliged to use part of the original amount received,go to telecenter and call the sender to update him or her on the latest cost of living(this nowadays changes day by day). Then finally seller too loses because he or she must pay tax to President Jammeh's government that is forcefully marketing the dalasi and also recently increased all taxes(see the recent speech delivered by SOS Balla Gaye). No wonder some are speculating that he is being watched by the NIA. Balla is within a danger zone. This same danger zone led to the killing Koro Ceesay in 1995. Balla should be careful of who he talks to about the reality on the ground. No wonder Dakar welcomed the idea being propelled by the world bank about people in the diaspora to help them manage the monies they wire to their respective countries of origin. Is Banjul even aware of that in the first place? What may happen is that Gambians abroad could simply divert their transfers to neighbouring countries. This is simple. Not much would be lost because those near the frontiers can survive so easily. Western union sent to Nioro or Poste Keur Ayib could be retrieved by someone in Kataba faster than going to Farafeni. How about those in Kuntaur,Basse and so forth. Koungeul could be a good strategic location. This is not unpatriotic it is a question of survival. That is why so many Guineans used that strategy during Sekou Toure's time. It brought Toure's economy to its knees. Strategies to dislodge a callous and cruel regime are always available. These are sent by God himself. More strategies are already underway to teach President Jammeh a lesson on his own economics of "myth". These will never be exposed here. Let him wait and see.
The last expert I met near central bank...
The saddest part of the whole story is that, The Gambia has so many experts in various fields who have been sidelined by the current regime because of difference in political opinion. Here is what this brain I met said..."..The mental drill for everyone here is that, the commodities have not reduced and the Dalasi keeps on getting(?) stronger all of a sudden. Thats too dangerous for us as a nation home and abroad. If the commodities had reduced in tandem, then one could have at least seen some little sense in this economics of "myth". However, we all understand that this is a criminal trying to hide his dirty deals...."
This expert is also absolutely right! The shocking news for President Jammeh will be one thing, the deal has been detected by others. It is only for a matter of time before President Jammeh will start arresting p certain officials again accusing them of being economic saboteurs! Those days are about to start. And this time! when the dalasi starts rising again Gambians should expect more anger within the civil service, the army and the ordinary citizens. President Jammeh will be exposed again. For example the dollar is going down every day, today it is @ D18 per dollar and the pound is @ D35 per pound whereas the price tags of all commodities are yet to come down. This is all a painting done with water paint. The whole false image shall crumble exactly as President Jammeh's poster fell along the westfied junction.
I am currently monitoring the case of the Singhateys. Any day I 'Bulfaaleh' reveal the other side of the story President Jammeh will arrest his own wife.
Happy RAMADAN TO ALL!
