Outrage! Much caution requested!Michael Scales calls for their immediate release

Reports reaching my office, and viewed on other leading online media outlets, confirm the arrest of Ms. Tania Bernath of Amnesty International in The Gambia, along with her fellow travellers. This smells of a set-up in every way. May I express my deep outrage at this incredable public relations blunder once again by security officers of the NIA and there accompanying agents. Amnesty International is no mere corner shop organisation to be trifled with. The organisation has in excess of 2.2 million members {more than the entire population of The Gambia}. There voice is big in every corner of the Globe, challenging abuses of The International Declaration of Human Rights. There support comes from World leaders, governments and highly acclaimed individuals who weild much power and favour with public opinion across the Globe. May I urge his Excellancy President Jammeh to show great caution and wisdom. This may set off a chain reaction that he may live to regret. All involved should be immediately released without harm or reference to any charge. The sincerest apology from His Excellancy is therefore highly and most urgently recommended.
