The Management and staff of the Freedom Newspaper wish to congratulate its Managing Editor and Publisher, Pa Nderry M'bai for his newly born baby boy on Wednesday October 17, 2007.

Reacting to the news, Mr M'bai thanked God for the enabling his wife deliver peacefully. He said he had been driving to and from the hospital all day but thankfully, both the mother and baby are in good shape. Asked what he makes of having his second child while in exile, he said that is enough booster for him to keep up the struggle against the dictatorship in The Gambia. "I am exceedingly happy tonight. The long awaited baby has already arrived. The medical staff assigned to my wife did a pretty good job by ensuring that everything went fine without any problem. Dad is fit and well. I thank God one more time for giving me strenght and wisdom to look after my family and country. We hope and pray that junior M'bai will maintain the legacy," he said.
