Gambia’s President Expels Foreigners From His Aids Cure Program!!

As Guinean Aids Patients Absconds From Jammeh’s Aids Clinic

Gambia: Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh has suspended foreign nationals admitted into his HIV/Aids treatment program with immediate effect, the Freedom Newspaper can reveal. Mr.Jammeh who self-styled himself with the title “The Medical Myth Booster has suspended foreign patients from his treatment lately as he puts it breach of contract on their part. Mr.Jammeh says from now on, non Gambians will not benefit from his aids treatment program. He says patients who violated his treatment terms and conditions would not receive any medical attention from him.

The President's  comments followed the escape of one his patients. Mariama, a Guinean national who was part of the treatment was said to have abandoned the medical camp when she felt her viral load was reduced. Jammeh(MMB) felt it was sabotage on her part and he then decided to suspend all foreigners on treatment with him on HIV and AIDS and other ailments.

A good number of HIV/Aids patients are currently been seen by the Gambian leader at his Kanilai villa, where these patients received local herbal medicines from the President. An update report on the President’s aids treatment program issued by the Department of State For Health says about 60 HIV patients have been cured by the Gambian leader. Their blood samples were taken to a foreign lab for testing. The Government claimed that the patients treated by the President have recovered.

President Jammeh’s move to suspend foreign nationals from his aids cure program never came as a surprise to many here. It is alleged that some of his patients are openly talking about the ineffectiveness of his aids medicine. Some of these patients complained about stomach pain, headache, vomiting among others.

Meanwhile, the office of the President has released another batch of HIV patients whose blood samples were tested. Below is the report. Please read on...
