INVITATION TO APRM/NEPAD WORKSHOP ON “REPORTING AFRICA IN A GLOBAL CONTEXT.
Following your expression of interest to attend the above workshop, I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected to participate in the workshop scheduled to take place in Accra, Ghana from November 14 -16, 2007, at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel.
The workshop aims to first “provide reporting skills, in-depth analysis and presentation of the APRM/NEPAD and governance issues in a more reader and audience – friendly format” and secondly, increase among APRM/NEPAD secretariats and other news sources, the need to collaborate with journalists in accessing information. The workshop is under the theme “Reporting Africa In A Global Context”.
To facilitate experience-sharing at the workshop, you are requested to kindly come along with at least one print writing or broadcast clip for discussion with your colleague participants.
You will be provided with an Economy Class Round Trip Ticket, as well as accommodation and dinner allowance for five days. (November 13-17, 2007). Kindly confirm your participation to us as soon as you receive this notification, to enable us to facilitate travel and other administrative arrangements in your favour.
