Disturbing Security And Tribal Issues Exposed!!

…..General Tamba And DIG Modou Gaye Under Fire

Monday December 31St is a dark day in Gambia’s body politics. This is the day in which Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh openly exhibited his long plan to groom his newly born son as his successor. He declared a National Holiday just to name his son Muhammed Yahya Jammeh. By all indications, this country is heading to monarchial rule. The mere fact that Jammeh has declared Monday as a national holiday tells a lot about his hidden plans. Absolutely, there is no justification for such national holiday. He is signaling to Gambians that he owns The Gambia and can do whatever he wants. Jammeh also wants to demonstrate to Gambians that baby Muhammed’s coming was a blessing in disguised for his unfinished power greed. Jammeh has laid down his own plans and God will decide.

Monday’s public holiday is a mockery to our ailing democracy. It’s also an insult to the intelligence of Gambians. Yahya Jammeh being the bad and unpatriotic son he is, has stripped-off Gambians their freedoms and basic liberties. We call such a public holiday a nonsense. Jammeh’s son don’t deserved such an official treatment and as far as Gambians are concerned Yahya Jammeh himself don’t worth to be remembered even if he happens to dies today. Gambians will instead rejoice over Jammeh’s demise. He is a liability and a waste to this country.

Dictators all over the world want to exhibit their might by forcing the populace to dance to their dictates. In the case of the Gambia, our people had been exposed to systematic civilized slavery by the self proclaimed Kanilai emperor.

None of Jammeh’s parents have left a good legacy that should warrant such a national holiday for his new son. Jammeh was never known prior to the July 22Nd coup. He started to come into limelight in the early days of July 22nD coup, thanks to Sana Bairo Sabally and Edward Singhatey. Jammeh is today enjoying the glory of his former comrades. They paved the way for him to lead the junta, which he later hijacked.

As far as Gambians are concerned Yahya Jammeh and his family are insignificant to our nation’s political history. Jammeh can be best remembered for pioneering genocide, torture, disappearances, arrest and domestic terrorism in The Gambia.

Monday December 31St, ought to have been declared a National Mourning in The Gambia since he had taken hundreds of Gambian lives over the years. Such National mourning would have helped to raise baby Muhammed Jammeh’s awareness about the atrocities committed by his clown father Yahya Jammeh when he becomes an adult one day.

As APRC party supporters, opportunists, and well-wishers converged in Kanilai to witness such an illegal and unconstitutional day, we call on progressive Gambians to put all hands on deck to salvage our beloved country from monarchial rule. We must act now to avoid blood shed in this country.

As stated earlier, Yahya Jammeh comes from an unknown family. His parents were born and raised in the Southern province of Casamance. Jammeh resettles into this country when he was pretty young. What we are witnessing is a non Gambian running the affairs of the country. A former destitute for that matter. A retired junky. A ghetto boy. A despised son of Africa. Jammeh is an insult to The Gambia and her people. How can an idiotic person like Yahya Jammeh holds this country onto ransom? Gambians should break the chain of slavery and free this country from political decadence.

It’s imperative for baby Muhammed Jammeh to know about these secrets. We thought it necessary to piece this editorial together for the sake of posterity. Baby Jammeh is not a proud son. His father had created serious dent on our ailing democracy. Thanks to Yahya Jammeh and his partners in crime, many Gambian homes had been rendered orphanage. He killed their daddies in the name of clinging onto power. He jailed their fathers in the name of national security. He exiled their fathers in the name of national security. His agents tortured and raped our women in the name of taming political opponents. His agents killed 44 Ghanaians and 20 other West African nationals in the name of foiled coup.

We at the Freedom Newspaper believe that Yahya Jammeh is an obstacle to Gambia’s peace and security. He has brought untold sufferings and nightmare to poverty stricken Gambians. Jammeh can be best described as Gambia’s HIV/Aids. He is ravaging the country’s onetime much cherished peaceful co-existence and political freedoms.

Under Jammeh’s watch, tribalism dominates the political arena. He favors his tribe men by appointing them to key Government positions. For Jammeh, qualifications do not matter. What matters is political loyalty. He hires his Jolla tribe who have no formal qualifications to run their assigned positions.

Lang Tombong Tamba was promoted to the rank of General without any formal military training. Lang cannot even lead a battalion not to mention an entire armed forces. He has never been known as a seasoned infantry soldier. Lang was promoted based on tribal line and his snitching second job. Lang is a ceremonial soldier. He has never led troops and shall be the first to abandon Jammeh if the state house was under attack.

Lang can be best described as a General without portfolio. He hangout with the Deputy Inspector General of police Modou Gaye. They had been cornering young girls around the SeneGambia Hotel in a bid to lure them into relationship.

Modou Gaye in particular has been bragging that he is going to be the next President of The Gambia. That, he will succeed IGP Jammeh before he will rose to the position of President. These are not allegations. They are statement of fact.

What makes Modou Gaye to think that he would be Gambia’s President beats the imagination of many. Here is a person who cannot write a simple sentence, not to mention a speech. Perhaps, General Tamba is promising him earth and heaven.

It’s no secret that Gaye and Tamba are good friends. They meet after work and discussed important state matters. The two are not happy with IGP Jammeh. Sooner or later, the President will replace Jammeh and appoint Modou Gaye. Gaye is Lang’s informant at the police. He spreads all kinds of lies against the IGP.

Yahya Jammeh thinks that Lang and Modou Gaye are loyal, but he will get the rudest shock of his life soon. These two folks are abusing their positions by engaging in unethical activities. Women folks are at the receiving end. There is this source who is privy to a lot of damaging information against the two.

One Jenkins a former hustler in Germany is among the Lang and Modou Gaye “terrikaffo.” We have a case file for Jenkins as well. We shall get back to this topic later. Lang and Modou Gaye knows what we are hinting about.  Little, did they know that some Gambians are watching them at this hour. They got the audacity to treat our kids for a meal, when they are hell bent on abusing our young women. Call them sex offenders, you make no mistake. Call them wife beaters you make no mistake. Call them criminal officers in disguised you make no mistake.

IGP Jammeh happens to be a Jolla. He is surviving Lang and Modou Gaye’s conspiracy theories for now, but sooner or later, he will face the inevitable sack. Modou Gaye has been speaking out openly about the backing he got from General Tamba and other Jollas in the Service.

In a bid to secure his position, Gaye married a relative of the President. Gaye is a traitor and Gambians should be weary of him. Gaye had been saying bad things about the Freedom Newspaper. We heard all what he said. The same sources told us that the man is holding one of his wife onto ransom at this hour. Gaye refuses to grant divorce to his wife. He has been using the paramilitary to intimidate the poor girl. We shall get back to this matter later. Our correspondents are busy working on the story. We will keep you posted once we are ready.

On a final note, we call on Gambians to open their eyes and know that this country is heading towards  a dangerous path. Unless, Jammeh is kicked out from office, Gambia’s future is bleak. We do not want Lang and Modou Gaye to liberate us. Let us fight our own case until freedom is restored in The Gambia. Down with Jammeh and the APRC.
