Yahya Jammeh an irate talker trying to cheat history-How the university started?

No one! I mean no one for that matter should ever be taken by surprise or get frustrated over what Yahya is uttering about the university! This is a blessing in disguise because Yahya has added another pile on his heap of mishaps that will be used to hook him towards doom faster than ever. This reminds me and others about the way Yahya shamelessly rushed to declare himself the owner of YDE-Youth Development Enterprise prior to the great fall of Baba Jobe. That alone suffices to justify his sudden removal from power by any means necessary. Him as a sitting president openly saying he owned a bankrupt company that was taken to court after committing crimes that are tied to economic ones? A president's own company evading tax? Duping the GPA-Gambia Ports Authority and the Department of Customs and Excise? A president saying so while a commission of enquiry was being formed during the so-called OPERATION NO COMPROMISE? Hear Yahya Jammeh! Hear him talk then coil in a shell of disgrace. The Yahya tag is a tag of shame and a dark curse for our land period.
Once again the same shameless, irate and irrational Yahya Jammeh is taking Gambians by surprise? It surprises me so much on the other side of things, when I see Gambians being surprised by this man's craziness! Why are people always surprised about what Yahya says or does? It is like being surprised by what a mentally unstable person says or does. What else should anyone expect from Yahya other than such disgraceful tirades? The only useful part of what Yahya says is that, he helps justify what critics like Hammadi and co say or predict about him! Once again here he comes saying the university is his. It was good that Yahya started that route during his crazy minutes, because he is gradually digging his own grave!
For those who do not know...Here is a brief history regarding the way the university started. It was originally called UEP-University Extension Program. What does this mean? It was one center(a name) being used as an axis. That is, to bring places like the MDI-Management Development Institute at Kanifing,The School of Nursing in Banjul,GTTI-Gambia Technical Training Institute at Kanifing and The Gambia College at Brikama under one umbrella. Therefore call it UEP! The beginning of everything was more theoretical than practical. It was more symbolic than an existing structure. These were the days Yahya was crying before UNESCO asking them to help make the project a success because it was good for his political future(where we are now!) Yahya used the university, the airport and the Kombo Coastal road to harp on development! development! What development? Development cow foot! This is clear and "shining" nonsense. The man did not contribute any idea on these projects he was sobbing and crying asking others to help him at least score some goals. He knew he was empty. He sent people like Dr Sedat Jobe running around searching for help. Such dishonest and so-called learned men are there but they will never say the truth! They know Yahya is a liar who does not even know how to start a nursery school let alone building and owning a university.
One simple question if answered will disgrace Yahya the liar then exonerate academics and other serious-minded people, who helped build the university. That is. Where these institutions not built during President Jawara's time? Yes they were. Those British Yahya was insulting left the RVH there. Lest his shameless head does not know the meaning of Royal Victoria Hospital? Has he so far built a facility that is better than RVH? Not at all. The Bwiam hospital was built like a falling mushroom, it was not equipped because he misused the funds he collected from Colonel Ghadafi. This soured relations between Yahya and Ghadafi leading to the closure of his diplomatic mission in that country. He was chased out of Libya behind closed doors as the thief he is. Can Yahya blame colonialists? I for one think he is worse than a neo-colonial African ruler, therefore he is the most recent waste matter of African politics. Again on the university! Has Yahya Jammeh forgotten the cash advances from UNESCO? Has he forgotten what was disbursed to help build the the UEP? Has he forgotten the participation of the Nigerian technical assistance team? Will Yahya tell us that he started the university project? If he says so time will slap him with a rude one as an international liar, which he is already known to be. Has Yahya forgotten the participation of brains like Dr Marenah and others? Has he forgotten about the participation of men and women who were attending the committee meetings? Has he forgotten about the participation of France.Canada,UK? Has he forgotten the donations from Professors like Dr L O Sanneh and co? Certainly Yahya's remarks for me even though sad and mad, are a blessing in disguise. They can help us debunk his unwise lies very easily.
Yahya Jammeh is an irate talker trying to cheat history. His lies are not wise lies. They are unwise lies. He certainly and obviously knows that he cannot own a small library let alone a university. If a person who speaks such horrible English and disgraces a whole continent during gatherings owns a university, then people like the late Dr Cheikh Anta Diop will be twisting in their graves!
Yahya shut up and cut your losses short stop disgracing our people please!
