Breaking News: 68 Prison Police get Promotion!!

Several prison officers received promotions handed down to them by the head of the prisons today at a colorful ceremony. Madam Agnes, the director of prisons disclosed that 68 members of the prison received promotions. This she said when she took over there were many promotions lying down wasting for no reason. As a sign of good work she said she decided to unveil the promotions which left officers nearly drowning themselves in buckets of water.

It could be seen as a way of jubilating, when the newly officers taps went wide open and people in uniforms started storming and washing each other with water. One of them Haddy Sanyang who was promoted to Superintendent said she had long been on the waiting list. "I don't know why this was done to me. She thanked Madam Agnes for her kind gesture in promoting her.

The atmosphere became confused as those who had joined the prison force since 1986 were stagnated at corporal but today after over twenty years are now promoted. They had all reasons to wash themselves off the bad luck to take up new luck. The prison boss said there were more to come. By standers opined that the prison police needed not only promotions but their uniforms need to be changed and their pay raised to shine like other workers, "after all I live on one dollar a day."

The situation was mixed with joy and sadness because the police look sorrowful in their soaked uniform. Whatever the case, they have been promoted and by all standards they were not promoted over 25 years and less.
