A Top Health Official Says The Official Secret Act Was Passed To Conceal Jammeh’s Aids Status

Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh is reported to have been diagnosed with HIV, the virus which scientists say causes aids. Mr. Jammeh who is also living with diabetics, has the aids virus in his system, according to official sources close to  the State House. “ One of the reasons, why he is so involved in aids cure is because of his HIV/Aids status. Very few people here knows about the President’s HIV status. He is living with the virus. He thinks that by declaring that there is cure for the diseases, he would end aids sufferers nightmares. The President has aids.” Said an official of the Ministry of Health.

According to official sources, the President was recently diagnosed with both diabetics and HIV/Aids. The official said President Jammeh would likely experiences major health complications in months ahead,  if he fails to embark on an early treatment. “ This information I am declassifying to you is a top secret. We handled the President’s health information. I think Gambians reserve the right to know the health status of their President. President Yahya Jammeh is living with HIV/Aids. He got both HIV 1 and Two infections. He was tested and the results suggest positive.” Said the official.

The official said one of the reason for the passage of the official secret act was to scare Health officials from disclosing the President’s aids status. “  They passed the official secret act to bare us from disclosing the President’s aids status. A  life imprisonment awaits defaulters. I pleased to disclose to you that President Jammeh has aids. This is the secret they are hiding from the Gambian populace. He has aids.” Said the official.

The Gambian leader who claimed to have found cure for HIV/Aids is now living with the disease. Our source said the President’s aids status was being concealed to the general public for fear of public alarm and unrest in the country. “ The Health Minister Dr. Njie and Mbowe are all aware of the President aids status. This is top secret. It’s unfortunate that our President is living with the virus.” Said the official.

All efforts to reach Dr. Njie for comments proved futile. He was not available for immediate comments. But Health Ministry sources said the President has aids.

Mr. Jammeh is reported to be hiding his aids status to his wife Zienab Suma Jammeh. The  Moroccan born First Lady would be shocked to learn that Jammeh is living with aids.
