A former NIA official assigned to handle journalist Fatou Jaw Manneh’s case has declassified  a scary and sinister plot, designed  by agents of The Gambian Government to possibly harm or prematurely terminate the life of the renowned journalist. In a dispatch sent to the Freedom Newspaper, the former Security official said Speaker Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay and her disgraced brother Balla Jahumpa were instrumental in luring certain hit men to take the life of Fatou Jaw Manneh. “Excuse me Mr. Editor but their is group of bandits who are doing everything to hurt her. They will fail miserably as her ex-in-in-law Mr. darboe has said. Baala Jahumpa and his sister Fatoumata Jahumpa Ceesay among the chief oppressor. They fear Fatou to death so they are doing everything humanly possible to eliminate her using the state just as they do with their so called enemies.But Fatou Jaw Manneh is no Baba Jobe. Yaya should open his eyes. Actually Zeinab has banned Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay off state house territory. Baala Jahumpa met with Fatou at Dakar’s VIP lounge at the airport. He was extremely jealous as he could not point out how she got there with all the VIP treatment she was having. That was when the network of a fight began. But where is he now, a drunk who is hanging on his shameless and the most cruel lady in Banjul, Fatoumata Jahumpa Ceesay. She will stab you and caressing you all the way to your grave for those who don't know her. Now the security personnel know about her, we refuse to do any nasty tricks for her. She was using us to get to her enemies but we all refused. Now she has turned to the army pocketing Lang Tombong Tamba because she knows Jammeh's days are numbered.” Said a former official of the National Intelligence Agency. Thanks again Mr. Mbai for the space. Mr. Hammadi  thanks for your very informative articles all the time. We have never refuted your knowledge of Gambian matters. What I was just trying to convey is that we should not arrive at the verdict too soon. As journalists and writers , we expect you to fight with Fatou to the last minute of her court proceedings.

She would have done that for any of you. She fought and defended all journalists at all times during her detention. She has never ever panicked and gave a friend away or comment that will implicate anyone especially journalists and especially freedomnewspaper.I am not related to her, have never seen her. Her detention was the very first time many of us laid eyes on her,  but her demeanor is one to reckon with. She has very humble and gentle brothers too. They are a very simple and humble lot.

We got into a heated debate with her in one of her interrogation sessions. One old intelligence, handicap guy handled or led the session. It was about the things she wrote about the Gambia and the consequences of those articles. The old man asked her to agree to the fact that her writings are driving away investors from the country and are hampering governments efforts. She responded with a question asking the guy ,who is driving investors away, the authorities who points guns on school children, were a journalist is gunned down or a journalist who is merely reporting on the events? It was a very heated debate and he displaced the old man advising him to desist fro activities that harm and hurt fellow citizens. He told him if she were his daughter he would been knocking allover Banjul for the unfairness of it all. She was very very upset but we all knew she was speaking the truth. The old man got very very embarrassed and forgot most of his equipments in the room. Fatou instantly turned very soft and kept padding the old man's back and escorted him to his office. She told him that she meant no demeaning or impoliteness but she has to defend her citizenship at all costs. She said over and over that she does not recognize semi -gods on the ground. She knows of only one god which is supreme. She became best of friends with the old man who calls to check on her everyday. WE have turned away people coming all the way from Senegal. They don't even know her. Just show her case on some Senegal TV and radio. Have come all the way to pray for her. To cut the story short.

One lady who is from Banjul, her last name is Fye, and one former ministers daughter, also from Banjul, a Fula girl, tourism veteran, of course mandinka women from sukuta, manjago, mankanyi and jola girls. She is very proud of who she is but not tribal at all. Her friends are a unique mix. You know Jammeh is very fascinated with sukuta women. he thinks they are very hardworking and very very glamorous. He almost has 3 attempted marriages in that town. He did not hate fatou, just don't know how to get to her. Their are  people who are behind all this because they feel threatened.

Excuse me Pa, one among them is called Binta Ceesay. She is married to Babucar Sompo Ceesay. She is a top international and local p…... And she is a curse to all her targets. Her victims are Abdoulie Kujaabi, Baba Jobe, Momodou Clark Bayo former central bank governor, Bank customers, you name it. She used to be an employee of Standard Chartered until she was fired due to greed and malpractice. Her new target is Lang Tombong Tamba whose wife she is befriending. All Gambian men in power should look out for her. She and Fatoumata are bandits who make it fashion now for housewives to be hunting for money at all costs.

I will stop here for now. Even if Yaya decides to jail  Fatou, she will do fine. After 3 days at the NIA, she has adjusted well and is always seen doing her laundry, reading and doing exercise. And please Hammadi, Watchman, and all the journalists, stand up for your colleague Fatou Jaw Manneh. Let's do everything to protect her. Thanks Pa.
