Yahya Jammeh calls April 10th victims opposition elements and enemies of his government-Final confession strikes!
By Hammadi Maasinah
Once again history has urged Yahya Jammeh the Gambia’s ordained killer to confess yet another crime against humanity. He finally confesses as the one who killed demonstrating Gambian students on April 10th 2000. You see there is what we call guilty conscience! This is what has naturally compelled Yahya to implicate himself by slipping, while warning students, teachers, parents and then "mocking" people he calls enemies of the state! We will sandwich Yahya’s infantile tirades within this article only to allow sound minds see how this enemy of decent folks is finally implicating himself. When Lawyer Ousman Sillah was shot Yahya came out in the open saying this: "If my state guards were the ones who shot Sillah they would not miss” That is on record. It means his state guards kill Gambians he perceives as threats to his political survival. Even whereas those "threats" are within the confines of a democratic contest! Nothing more nothing less. All lawyer Sillah did was nothing more than defending a person Yahya wanted jailed for economic crimes. If Yahya was not masquerading anything why attempt the life of a lawyer who was defending a person him wanted to send to jail? After Baba Jobe's case there were so many cases but no lawyer was shot at. Why? Here is why. Yahya felt uncomfortable as a bandit because he knew lawyer Sillah was seasoned enough to dig more and know more about his deals with Baba as the trial was heating up. He did not eliminate lawyer Sillah to stop him from winning,he eliminated him to stop him from knowing more from a source that was so close to him. Today Yahya would kill any lawyer who attempts defending Baba Jobe again because there are more tangible reasons for him to conceal more as Charles Taylor is in the Hague. Yahya's daily observer was insulting the French judges because of that!
Next when Deyda was killed Yahya this time did not deny he instead warned other journalists. Before Deyda’s death Yahya said he was going to give Deyda a birth day present he would never forget. Deyda will not remember that birth day because dead souls do not recall anything Yahya. Instead you will be the one remembering Deyda everyday. You will be remembering Deyda’s soul and ghost cause the man was a sacred son of the land.
When the Ghanaians were butchered in Brufut Yahya stayed mute until he went to Freetown and was embarrassed by a journalist in Sierra Leone during a state visit. He received a question from a Sierra Leonean journalist which no other Gambian journalist would ever dare ask him on Gambian soil. He tried to calm his shameless being in Freetown because he knew any strange move would have justified his arrest right there and then. He tried to lie but he lied in a very unwise way. Why did he miss traveling to Ghana during the last AU summit? He was told by the NIA that he was going to be arrested by the marching Ghanaian citizens. Yahya knew he would not even dare think about looking at the marching Ghanaians in Accra let alone show them he was angry. Finally his coward face was covered in Banjul with another veil of shame! Of course there are Ghanaians who will chop his head off if they face him without any security or protocol. Beating Yahya Jammeh physically is as easy as one, two, three. He knows when men like Pierre Mendy used to beat him up physically at Fajara barracks. That’s why he has deep complex against Pierre. I swear Gambians are watching a dangerous trend grow. The Gambia will see rising rebels and Yahya Jammeh will certainly swim in a sea of blood. Gambian clergymen,Imams and other traditional leaders are being called to their senses. Let us not deny the silent rising trend. For sure there are those who think it is normal BUT any day the dark clouds start raining we will all feel it at once.
Look at the latest from a mentally insane person people are calling a president in Banjul….(source daily observer)
QUOTE BEGIN
“…..President Jammeh then explained clearly why it took so long for schools to have school buses saying “there was a time during the transition days when I was accused by every parent of spoiling you the students. So you were then fooled by the enemies of this country and you failed me on April 10 and 11.
That was why, we did not provide school buses for you but now I think you have learn a lesson. If the school children are opposed to the government, is like taking a gun and shooting someone who feeds you. Today, where are those who were fooling you. Even if they say they cannot provide school buses for you, they should have even provided ‘Gele Gele’, but they have not even provided a tractor for you. So next time someone pushes you to oppose the government that takes care of you, you pay for it…”.
QUOTE ENDS
Well.. well.. well… Yahya Jammeh said: . “…So next time someone pushes you to oppose the government that takes care of you, you pay for it…”. Pay for it!!!!! Three expensive words, but words that have finally helped those who want to arraign him before a tribunal. No need to talk the day is getting nearer and nearer.
This sentence was not made out of nothing Yahya. Now tell me how anyone can win a case in favour of Yahya if he were to face an independent tribunal outside The Gambia? Just tell me. The most unfortunate part of the whole issue at hand is when Yahya Jammeh is seen as a GIVER and the Gambians he is stealing from are being seen as the BEGGARS! My good country folks, isn’t it time we stop the endless talking and resort to using anything within our reach to eject this APE from Banjul?
In all this we still have people who say Yahya is working? Yahya is this,Yahya is that? One thing I can say here today. That is, a person like Yahya Jammeh can only rule a country like ours for more than a decade without him being showered with bullets from rebels! That’s a fact. Like it or not. Yahya knows exactly in his insane mind that Gambians can be pushed aback by the simplest threats. He uses that to stay. Yahya does what the English say: “he who dares wins ”. He dares use threats against a presumably “cold” populace thus stays in power. Yahya Jammeh knows Gambians are not the type who will organize to fight his army. He knows the Banjul culture of “watch-and-see” that’s why he is using It to his advantage. It is good to be tolerant but too dangerous to be naïve. Are we naïve? Aren’t we? Well,14 years in this mess may suggest something close to answering these leading questions in the affirmative. Some of us say those abroad using key boards are cowards let them go home. Well if anyone was to attack Yahya today and send him out by an arms struggle, I can bet those saying to us “go home and fight Yahya on the ground” would have been the first ones to dance. They would dance the whole night after a successful coup d’ etat against Yahya. Even when one writes docile characters say: “Yahya can harm you or your relatives, please stop writing” NONSENSE!!! Hello! This is why Yahya is there. He knows that some people see him as a “dangerous” killer within the midst of “docile” folks. Sure a bandit like Yahya loves seeing himself as the powerful bully. He loves the title KILLER. He brags about it and uses it. After killing students in 2000 today the same Yahya is blaming the dead kids for having been used by opposing forces?
Mocking the weeping and wounded hearts of their families with old buses from Gerona Spain? I personally know where these buses are from details about them will be revealed here.
God save The Gambia!
