Basiru A. O. Njie-The First Deputy Governor of Central Bank is a Devil in the Jungle.
As we promised, no stone would be left unturned in the overall administration of Central Bank of the Gambia. So it would be prudent on all the Senior Management of the Bank to guide their actions as we would expose all their deeds one by one without fear or favor.
This article is in relation to the First Deputy Governor Basiru A. O. Njie. This man is another square peg in a round hole. He is a real coward who fears to make even the simplest decision a clerk can take. This is because he always fears the repercussion of his decisions tomorrow. Why do you fear if you do the right thing? Basiru Njie is just enjoying the benefits (fat salary and all the allowances to his position) for nothing. No wonder all decisions are at a stand still if the Governor travels out. The grapevine of Central Bank is that governor Bamba Saho controls every thing. That is true but Mr Saho has a case in that because his Deputy is a coward and therefore don’t want to be involved decision making. He thinks President Yaya Jammeh would fire him for the decisions he make. Please resign if you are not man enough to make decisions affecting the financial institutions as a whole. Mr Njie thinks he would be the next Governor after Mr Saho because his wife Sira Wally Ndow is connected to president Jammeh. That is the greatest nightmare of a life time because an ape like him is not the least efficient to run Central Bank. If that’s what your wife is promising you, then you must be the greatest fool on earth to believe so. Just wait and see when Jilanka is through with your wife.
Basiru Njie is really funny. Meet this man in his office on a problem or a decision matter, he would talk nice words and promised a swift action. Interestingly you would be shocked to note that no decision is taken on the said matter till the governor is involved. This man is a real crook when it comes to his encounters with people. He is some one who likes to appease all while in actual fact he acts otherwise. First Deputy Governor Basiru Njie is a green snake in a green grass. He is very harmful but he poised good and better than his boss Saho. He is working against Mr Saho’s effort because he doesn’t want to be involved in any serious decision making due to fear.
Deputy Governor Njie is only good at traveling out for nothing. We were even shocked when going over his last travel voucher in the Finance and Banking Service Departments. This man is another fraudster. He is contributing to the bad administration of Central Bank because he is not acting as a check to the numerous problems adherent to the Bank. Mr Njie is some one who wants to appease the proprietors or CEOs of financial Institutions by down playing with the decisions of the regulators because he is soft when hard decisions are required. First Deputy Governor Njie thinks he is wise but he should know that he is under the Central Bank Microscope; all your games are in our hands. Governor Saho has a case to be domineering in his decision makings because he is flanked both left and right by useless and empty barrel Deputy Governors. Mr Saho with all his odds is firm on his devilish decisions. We were with Mr Njie last week and he was talking negatively that Governor Saho fears a lot. In actual fact Mr Saho is more bold and strong than Mr Njie as seen in his corrupt practices and how he used fools like Ousman Sowe and Amadou Colley in playing his cards.
We want President Jammeh and the whole world to know we were silent during Governor Jatta’s tenure because outright corruption and nepotisms were not glaring like it is now. So it is left for the president to find out our claims online by mounting the required investigation on the said matters. We are happy to make our case known to all and we humbly wait for the right actions without fear or favor.
To summarize, we would want the president to investigate the following thieves and criminals of Central Bank before it is too late. These are:
1. Governor Momodou Bamba Saho
2. First Deputy Governor Basiru Njie
3. Second Deputy Governor Oumie Samba Savage
4. Director Ousman Sowe
5. Director Amadou Colley
6. Director Herbert Carr
7. Director Ousainey Corr
We are making researches on other Directors not mentioned as more revelations are on the way. We want the president to know that we have nothing against these people; we only want justice to prevail as always claimed by him. So let him do justice for us if he truly stands his words of redeeming the Gambia. We rest our case.
