Dear Angelina & Brad,
My name is Bubacar Sankanu. You probably have not heard of me but I am a very famous commentator on Gambian online media who cannot make up his mind as to whether Yahya Jammeh is a bad dictator or not. I escaped from Gambia by hiking across the Sahara desert under extreme conditions. Please, the reason why I am writing to you is to ask you to formally adopt me as a child of yours. It's true I am 46 years old but I'm just a hungry African kid with a cute smile. Wont it be nice to have me as a big brother to your other adopted kids, Zahara, P ax, Maddox and your daughter Shiloh?
Before you become my parents, I have to warn you that I cry very easily when I'm scolded or criticized so please tell your 3 your old daughter, your baby and your 5 year old boys not to tease me. Last year, Madonna adopted me and took me to London just like she did with that baby from Malawi but her husband hated me and had me sent back to the soup kitchens of Berlin where the food is not so good. I have been telling people at the soup kitchens that I am a reporter doing research about poverty in Germany but they are becoming suspicious because I keep going back for more food. I need your help before my BIG LIE is exposed!!!!!!!
Okay, okay I'll settle down. It's just that I'm very desperate for a home. If you don't adopt me, I'll report you to the United Nations for discrimination against an orphan. If that does not work I'll report you to Human Rights Watch for not sheltering me, the Serene Prince of African journalism who needs to be protected from the likes of the evil Watchman. If that does not work I'll use my last resources and have Yahya Jammeh threaten to kill me on GRTS television and the Daily Observer so that everyone will think I am in danger and feel sorry for me. Please Brad and Angelina, adopt me. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please…..
