BREAKING NEWS: DISGRACED SPEAKER DIBBA GRANTED BAIL-FREEDOM AT LAST!!!

EX-SPEAKER S. M. DIBBA RELEASED, MEANWHILE, EX-NIA CHIEF MARENA & CO'S. WHEREABOUTS REMAIN MYSTERIOUS.

By Ebrima G. Sankareh

Raleigh, NC- According my unassailable source at the office of the Gambian President, the embattled speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Sheriff Mustapha Dibba has been granted bail and is resting after what is described as a humiliating ordeal in the hands of state intelligence agents. Dibba who was picked up at about 5:00am last Thursday and whisked in a security car at breakneck speed, has since been the subject of great debate and speculation fueled further by the APR's lack of transparency.

DISGRACED SPEAKER

DIBBA REGAINS FREEDOM,

WHILE TREASON CHARGES

ARE YET TO BE HEARD!!!

While my source could not elaborate on the bail conditions and what charges await Mr. Dibba, he hinted that a substantial amount of money especially, real estate is involved. Asked to shed light on ex-NIA chief Daba Marena and the five officers who reportedly fled with him, my source said Marena was picked up with the said officers on a Friday but the press release about their fleeing came out on Tuesday barely five days since they were removed from Mile II. "So, sir you can add the dots." "But you did not provide any dots except that they were removed on a Friday'', I replied. "Ok, did the release say any soldier was hurt during the accident....?" "Thank you N'dokeh" I said. "One more thing", the source added, "expect some news in the coming weeks because HE may be visiting Dakar.

It remains to be seen what the coming weeks will unravel about HE and his friends as they try to undo one another. What is certain is that Mile II has become a political academy whose graduates include both notorious and notable Gambians among them, S. M.Dbba and Pap Cheyassin Secka who has the dubious distinction of a felon turned Justice Minister under Jammeh's APRC.
