EDITORIAL
Gambia’s iron hand dictator President Yahya Jammeh, is a bad citizen. How can Jammeh publicly declared that he had intention of ruling the impoverished country for another 30 years, when he had woefully failed as a leader. For Jammeh to tell his supporters that those aspiring for the Presidency should relax, as he had no plans in the short term to surrender power in the next 30 years, is a joke. Gambians will chase him out of the state house if he continues to cling to power. The time has come for him to leave. Forced rule will only lead to his embarrassing ejection from that high office. His statement sounds like that of a desperate person talking. Jammeh has lost control of the country and there is no doubt in our mind that Jammeh’s days are numbered.

JAMMEH POINTING AT THE BAD ROADS
IN SERREKUNDA. NO DEVELOPEMENT UNDER
YAHYA'S RULE. POVERTY, PROSTITUTION,
CRIMINALITY, AND OPPRESSION OF THE MASSES.
Jammeh is a celebrated liar, who should not be taken seriously by Gambians. He deviated from all the reasons he advanced to justify the toppling of Jawara’s rule. The same Yahya Jammeh is on record for having said that the 1994, July coup was compelled by the prolonged PPP rule. He said the coup was justified as the former government was hell bent on clinging on to power. Liar Yahya told the nation that future leaders of The Gambia will not rule for 30 years.
Going by his wishful prediction, Jammeh believe that he will retire from the Presidency at the age of eighty years. We have long been saying that Jammeh is mad and he needed urgent help. This man will wake up one morning and started shooting people. That day is coming. Is Jammeh God? Can he determine the future of our country? Is Jammeh really certain that he will win the October elections? Fortuneteller Jammeh is saying that he will live forever. Come on…. Jammeh is a day dreamer. He will be shocked when the inevitable change comes.

CONFUSED JAMMEH
WALKING IN THE STREETS
OF SERREKUNDA.
Gambians should not be intimidated by his ranting. Jammeh is gone. It is just a matter of time for God to decide his fate. His down fall will come as a rude shock to him and his followers. The Gambian voters have seen untold suffering under Yahya’s watch and allowing him to rule us for another 30 years means denying our younger generation development. The man got to go, come what may. His statement will be faced with resistance. We do not want such a hopeless and empty headed President to continue to hold our country into ransom. It is time for people to fasten their belts to liberate our country from Jammeh’s misrule.

JAMMEH AT THE YUNDUM BARRACKS
SHORTLY AFTER THE ALLEGED FOILED
COUP!!!!
We at the Freedom Newspaper, are not the least surprised by Jammeh’s bogus statement. We cannot rule out that Jammeh is one of those online imposters threatening our able Editorial team. There was this day when an anonymous reader posted a comment on our stories rating column indicating that Pa Nderry will not set his foot in The Gambia, in the next thirty years. The next day Jammeh told the nation that he will not step down from office in the next 30 years. Assuming that Jammeh was not the poster of that message, what is alarming here is that Jammeh repeated the 30 years forced rule at the APRC‘S so called 10,000 march. This information must have been posted by Jammeh or a close confidant of Jammeh. The timing of the mail speak volumes.
The Freedom Newspaper, harbored no grudges against Jammeh. We are merely performing our basic journalistic work. If exposing Jammeh’s corruption and evil deeds tantamount to be a threat to national security, then so be it. We will continue to report the truth even after the demise of Jammeh’s government. We love our country and we will not watch by allowing few disgruntled criminals holding The Gambia into ransom. We will tell the truth, no matter who is affected.
Another Jammeh supporter commented that they can get us even though we are away from home. From our little understanding, the disgruntled writer was implying that Jammeh can extent his killing abroad. Try us and see…. Little did these Jammeh online warriors know that their IP’S can be traced. We do not mean to scare anyone, but we are capable of tracing the IPS of some of the malicious emails sent to this Editor. Some will used public computers just to carry out their vicious activities. We enjoyed reading such mails. When the media succeeded in deligitimizing a despotic government, its supporters and officials resort to such cowardly acts. Interestingly, Jammeh’s own associates including Jammeh himself read this paper every morning before addressing any official business. We are not bragging but this is the reality. His own close associates unveiled this information to us.
We maintain that Jammeh is a bad citizen. His actions and personal comportment suggests that he don’t love The Gambia. A patriotic Gambian would have resigned under such a failed government. The force attempt to rule The Gambia, in our view might only lead to upheaval. An oppressed society can resort to anything when the going get tougher. Jammeh should stop underrating Gambians. For him to say that he will continue to rule us is an insult. None of his parents were born as administrators. Jammeh came to power by accident and he will no doubt leave the Presidency God willing. He must be living in a dream world if he thinks that he will continue to stay at the state house.
Jammeh is worst than Jawara. This man is not joking with the Presidency. Even it will cost him to sacrifice one of his loved ones to stay Jammeh will do it. The PPP Ministers and officials should stand up to be counted. They are vindicated. They were toppled by criminal men in uniform. Jammeh is today repeating what he blamed Jawara and his government for. The future of our country is very, very bleak under Yahya’s watch. We have a bad citizen presiding the affairs of the state. What a sad state of affairs. God rescue us from Jammeh’s misrule. Our country is sinking…. We rest our case.
