JAMMEH’S GUINEA VISIT A FAILURE!!!

…JAMMEH RETURNS HOME EMPTY HAND

By Senior  Staff Writer,  Ansumana Jammeh, Banjul

Banjul-7/17/08-President Yahya Jammeh returned home from the sister Republic of Guinea Conakry on Wednesday 16th July 2008, after a three day visit, the Freedom Newspaper can authoritatively reveal.

Apparently, Jammeh's journey was marred by high powered security and turned out to be another waste of tax payers money since the visit failed to yield anything for ordinary Gambians.

After arriving at Banjul international Airport where he was met by his top government officials,Jammeh in his interview with the State controlled Gambia Radio and Television Services failed to inform Gambians regarding his purpose of visit to Conakry, neither its outcome.

The enthusiasm that used to greet Jammeh when traveling or returning from tours or visits has all vanished in thin air.

Gambians no longer line up the streets to either see him off or welcome him.

Apparently this lukewarm reception towards President Jammeh is indicative of the fact that Gambians patience towards his misrule is wearing thin.
