Gambian Peacekeepers Leave For Estemo!!!!

Banjul:7/30/08-On Tuesday 29th July twenty-three Gambian police Officers leaves for Estemo under the supervision of the United Nation peace keeping mission.The ceremony was held at the Police headquarters in the Capital Banjul.
According to the Interior Minister Mr.Ousman Badjie, the mission is aimed at preventing lost of lives and respect for authority.
Apparently, the officers were admonished by both the Interior Minister and the Inspector General of Police Essa Badjie to value human rights and fundamental freedom of the people of Estemo.
However, the Inspector General of Police Essa Badjie, delivered a short speech but assured the officers of their immediate return after the completion of their one year service.
Meanwhile, the Gambian police officers were led by Superintendent Ansumana Sanyang.
