EX Crime Boss Dibba Goes To Court!!!
….CMC DIBBA CHARGED,ASP JAMMEH RELEASED

Banjul:8/01/08-The former coordinator of crime management of the Gambia police force, Commissioner Burama Dibba, who was in detention since 30th April, has finally been charged and his co-detainee, ASP Ebrima Jammeh, the former head of serious crime unit was released from custody without charge, a reliable source told the Freedom Newspaper today.
According to sources,CMC Burama Dibba has been charged with false information but the particulars could not be established. A court official told this Paper that CMC Dibba's case has been registered with the Banjul magistrates' court and will probably appear before Magistrate Lamin George of the said court today, Friday 1st August.
Mr.Dibba was spotted within the premises of the police headquarters and in the office of the prosecution. He appears to be in a confident mood with his family and love ones greeting him.
Going further Mr.Dibba appears to be physically fit and well. The former serious crime boss, ASP Ebrima Jammeh is said to be released. This Paper was reliably informed that he has been cleared of the suspicion against him which led to his 90 days incommunicado detention at Mile Two Prison alongside Dibba. He was said to have been discharged from the police force.
It could be recalled that, both CMC Dibba and ASP Jammeh were arrested together on 30th April and has since been detained at Mile Two Prison. It was believed that the arrest of the duo are connected together.
However, four prominent senior Lawyers are said to be in position to defend Mr.Dibba.
