JAMMEH EXPOSING HIS OWN LIES AND TREACHERY-Opinion piece
BY YANKUBA JAMBANG
Pa, it's unbelievable that Yahya Jammeh is merely playing with Gambians lives; killing them for fun or rituals! I'm saying this because I 've just read a piece on your site and the Daily Observer story captioned: "Sheriff Dibba Meets President Jammeh" in the Friday edition of the paper.

DR.TAAL WANTS TO BURN
THE GAMBIA. HE WILL ONE
DAY FACE JUSTICE. SOURCE
OF PIX GAMBIA JOURNAL
What Jammeh and his praise singers (Daily Observer) must understand is that we as Gambians can distinguish truth from falsehood. That fact that Sheriff Dibba did not make any mention of his involvement in the alleged coup d'eta indicates that there was indeed no coup in the Gambia. The meeting, according to the Daily Observer, was for Mr. Dibba to "renew his loyalty and allegiance" to Jammeh and his government!! Mr. Dibba did not apologize for having supported the alleged coupists. The questions that linger in our minds today are:
Why was Mr. Dibba arrested?
Why was he removed from the post of speaker of House?
What is he going to be charged with, if any?
Although Mr. Dibba disappointed many Gambians who have respected him and supported his party, NCP for decades and got recognized as one of the greatest political pundits in our sub region, he [SM] was not the type to support coups.
The Observer story quoted president Jammeh as sanying "sometimes both pleasant and unpleasant things happen but he [Jammeh] has faith in Almighty Allah...what happened on March 21 was unfortunate, but he [Jammeh] has taken it in Good faith".
Then, what happened to those reported missing and are now feared to have been executed. Jammeh and the Observer newspaper should stop lying in their attempt to conceal truth. These acts of torture and executions are well documented and the perpetrators will be tried by Gambians in the near future. Daily Observer as media company could be brought before a Gambian law court on charges of misinformation and helping a dictatorial regime suppress innocent Gambians. On that day, people like Dr. Saja Taal, and his bunch of useless editors will have their share of justice. | Posted on Sunday, April 23, 2006 (Archive on Friday, April 28, 2006) Posted by PANDERRYMBAI Contributed by PANDERRYMBAI
